I would give Scott Saidel at AutoNation Ford in Bradenton seven stars out of five if possible. I am extremely pleased by the experience buying my 2024 Ford Escape PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid) from Scott. I live in Clearwater and was interested in buying an electric vehicle with the intention of powering the electric car from the solar panels on the roof of my house. I looked at Tesla, Volkswagen, Volvo, Kia, Hyundai, Chevy and the Ford dealerships close to my house near Clearwater. I did a lot of investigation on-line in various websites, so when I started asking questions at the various dealerships, I generally found the sales people ill-informed about the features and capabilities of their electric cars. Scott was the exception. Scott’s knowledge of the vehicles he is selling far surpasses the knowledge of any other sales person I encountered. Scott is a true electric vehicle enthusiast and expert. This knowledge so impressed me that when Scott moved from the AutoNation location in St. Petersburg to the AutoNation location in Bradenton, I followed him down even though I had no commitment to buy a Ford at that time. One the most impressive and decisive factors in my buying from Scott at AutoNation Bradenton was that I had a perception of honesty and superior knowledge from Scott. When other sales people could not answer my questions, I was left wondering whether they did not know the answer because they had never considered the issue, or they were pretending ignorance and deceiving me because they felt the true honest answer would deter me from buying the car. With Scott, I felt I was getting true, complete answers and being dealt with honestly. Although I really liked the Mustang Mach-E, I ultimately ordered and bought the Ford Escape PHEV due to price. I figure that for 355 days of the year, I will drive my Escape in electric-only mode using electricity from the solar panels on my roof and my charger at home. There are only a few days each year I take long trips when I will need more range than the 37 miles that the Escape PHEV has in electric-only mode.

As always Autonation does excellent work. I realize that they have no control of what Ford charges for parts; however, over $1,000. to replace a burned out tail light is absurd.

Great Visit

Had leaking coolant so i dropped it off on Saturday. Service advisor, Eric told me it'd probably be until Wednesday to diagnose. Although Eric was out sick, service manager Arnie called me with diagnose and texted me back with ETA on repair as he promised. Great communication by both, they did what they said they would do. Great job of Arnie, svc mgr, to pickup when his guy is gone and reach out to me. Car drives great. A+

Found my car on Carfax. Reached out to AutoNation to inquire about the vehicle. I received a prompt response from a sales associate and scheduled a test drive. Arrived at AutoNation was greeted promptly by the sales associate and given an opportunity to drive the BMW. After a brief discussion outling the price, a deal was negotiated. Everything went smoothly with no stress in buying or receiving the car. It is my first experience with AutoNation and while I do not anticipate buying another car any time soon, I would not hesitate to buy from them again or to recommend them to anyone looking for a preowned car. The inventory was quite extensive.

On arrival greeted immediately! Daniel took care of me and explain the recall on my vehicle and approximately how long it was going to take to be fixed he then offered me an Uber so I didn't have to wait the three and a half hours at the dealership! Everything was done in a timely manner efficiently and professionally! Vehicle was done in the lot time that was given and I went and picked vehicle up and everything was up to par and excellent order! Daniel is a fantastic experienced employee!

Great Experience came highly recommended

We were referred to Tom Sharpe by another shop who couldn’t do all the work needed. We were reluctant since we recently had terrible experiences with the Sarasota Ford and didn’t know if we would experience the same crazy! We did not. The process from start to finish was so simple. Tom was great from start to finish, I felt like they did a really good job, they explained things to me for me to understand and it really was quick. We were told up front the time it would take to look at the car and get a diagnosis and that was accurate. We received step by step texts and pictures to go along with our work and they were very responsive. This was by far one of the best experiences we’ve had so far with a car dealership! My experience was wonderful. The service guy explained everything to me and was very professional. At auto nation they treat you like you’re in a small town and everyone knows everyone.
