Mixed bag of a dealership.

by Nana on 09/04/2018

Please do yourself a favor and read the Yelp and Facebook reviews before making any purchases from this dealership. It seems your experience is entirely down to who you deal with. There are great people who work here and there are also some pretty incompetent and rude folks (avoid Eric van Dyke if you can---I speak from personal experience). If you're lucky enough to get one of the good people, your experience will be rather pleasant.

First Car from Honda - Purchased Honda CR-V

by Naresh on 06/05/2018

I recently purchased Honda CR-V from Wilmington Location. They are the worst seller because they don't care about their customers one they buy the car. Our experience with purchasing first Honda car was horrible. After we purchased the car, they forgot about us. After Purchase they never return the calls or answer queries or concerns we had with the car. In fact, we had to call dealer multiple times to find out if our Tags came in. No one really cares once you purchase the car. You are on your own. I wouldn't recommend purchasing any cars from this dealer.

High Class Honda store

Mike M. is a first class sales person. No high pressure sales method and delivery went smooth as glass.

Practically Painless

by vozim on 03/20/2011

Came into dealership with Altima, Outlook, Camry, & Accord in mind with no strong loyalty toward any of the 4. Mike McDaniel was the Union Park sales person I dealt with. I ended up buying a 2011 EXL V6 and I know the reason why had to do with having Mr. McDaniel as my sales person. He was very knowledgable about the specific car I was interested in. He was not pushy nor did he try to steer me to any other vehicle when I was having some doubts about the final pricing. I came in with pricing information form various Internet sites including Consumer Reports. Unlike other sales people I've had experience with, Mr. McDaniel never brought up any negative comments about the information I was bringing. His level of respect throughout the process kept me at the dealership. It was only 2 days from the date that I saw the car I wanted to driving off the lot with that car at a negotiated price I was content with. I've purchased 2 other Accords from Union Park in the past 15 years or so; the level of service provided by Mr. McDaniel was a cut above. I would strongly suggest if you consider Union Park as a potential dealer that you specify Mr. McDaniel as your sales person. He'll make the whole process relatively painless.

Union Park's attitude has changed!

by knrover on 02/28/2011

I have bought several Hondas in my relatively long life (72 years). I have tried several times to buy one from Union Park, but they were always higher than the competition. We visited them Sunday (2/27/11) only to look at used cars, but because they didn't have any in the color my wife wanted, we talked to a salesman about a new Accord EX-L. With no haggling, they offered a price that was WAY below dealer cost, so I jumped on it. The salesman, Mike McDaniel, was one of the most pleasant car sale people I've ever dealt with. The finance person (Erin) was equally pleasant and knowledgeable. We have, of course, not dealt with their maintenance people, and it's probably that we got the extraordinary deal because it was end-of-month February. But we were not able to get anything close to this good a deal at Delaware Subaru (for a Legacy 3.6 Limited) or Scott Honda.

Worst Customer Service & Highest Price

by gypsytda on 03/31/2009

I hope they improved since 2002 when I tried to work with them. I lived in Bear Delware, they were one of the 2 closer dealers to my home. They also were the HIGHEST price & WORST customer service i have dealt with to date! The sales guy was extremely rude, and when he came down in price eventually he still was above the 2nd highest price. I told him what I would pay, and he refused.. which was find with me.
