I'd rather drive out of town

Horrible service! I have a 2008 Ford Focus that started having engine trouble at only 40000 miles. I brought it to my local dealership for service. They were sure it was one thing and charged me almost 300 dollars to fix it. They returned it to me and said it was fixed. They were wrong. They took it back and made up some reason and re-calibrated some software and told me it was fixed but that i might not be able to use the a/c on really hot days cause its only a 4 cylinder. That didnt sound right so i tried driving without the a/c and continued to have the problem. When i called back to get it looked at they told me they didnt know what was wrong and were very busy and they would have to charge me $100/hour to try to figure it out. They wanted to make sure i knew it could be as much as $800 for them to figure it out and that wouldn't be covered by the warranty even if the problem was covered by the warranty. How does that make sense? The service clerk with the mustache was particularly rude to the point when he answered the phone i asked for someone else rather than deal with him. They were very busy with corporate and state work. I would have overlooked the rudeness and the busy schedule to have a place in town that i trust. I have a young family and i plan to stay in town for the next 30 years. I'd love to have a place where I could buy cars and have them serviced for the next 30 or so years but they didnt seem to want my business.

Stay away from Ray Seraphin Serv Shop/ they are not recommended - BAD!

These people have BIG attitudes, and are not very nice to deal with. I have a brand new car, and I had nothing but trouble in dealing with them. They had my car for 4 days, and didn't fix the problem. I have a grindng noise in the dashboard of this brand new 2009 Escape that gets intermittently loud while you step on the accelator. After 4 days, they said they fixed it. Guess what, they didn't. I picked it up on "empty", red light was on as I had no fuel left. They drove it for 98 miles and never replaced the fuel, and left me to deal with it. Went back to tell the service clerk, and he didn't want to know anything about it. The Service Director, Frank Sharples, well that is another story of its own. They damaged my car, and are denying damaging it, and won't fix it. PLEASE, PLEASE, don't go there - I don't want anyone else to ever have to deal with the same experience I had with them. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM OR BUY A CAR THERE. They just don't care. The service clerk was argumentative, and had a sharp tone to his deamnor. Not good for customer relations. Go to another Ford Dealer - you'll get better service. On a good note, I had a good oil change - but that was in a different department. Good Luck
