Although I have used Girard Toyota for service in the past and considered them wonderful, my two experiences with the sales department have been way below standards. My latest experience was finding a used car in their inventory and writing the internet sales rep for the pricing, since it read "call for price". She wrote that it was "prob 11,900" and that fell in my budget. I called and she said that the car would be ready for me to try when I got there and she would have a salesman greet me. The salesman was very nice and the test drive went well. When it came time to negotiate terms, I learned that the price was in the 16,000 range and not in in 11,000 range. What a scam!! The internet sale rep said she thought I meant another car; however, she did have the correct car ready for me to test drive. These "tricks" disgust me and this is the second time something like this has happened to me at Girard Toyota. Be Very Careful!!!!

Called the dealership this morning and asked Internet Manager Julie about a truck listed for sale giving her the stock #. She asked someone on the sales floor if it was available and told me it was on the lot and available for purchase. She also said it was a nice truck and to come down and she'd be able to save me some money on it. Drove to the dealership 20 minutes later and met her and her first words were: I think that got sold last night. Sure enough, another sales person came over and said it was such a nice truck that an employee bought it and he began to explain all the ways the employee was going to customize it for himself. Typical dealership BS. Girard lost a potential customer (with cash in my pocket) for life.

After visiting another car dealership where the salesman not only irritated us, but tried to talk me out of what I wanted, it was so refreshing to meet Luckson F as we walked in the door of Girard Toyota. Luckson understood what I was looking for, explained the differences in models, and let me choose. Even though one of my primary demands was to get any color RAV4 except black, white or grey and that's all Girard had on the lot, a beautiful Blue Crush Metallic RAV4 was there for me within two days. Luckson is such a likable, knowledgeable sales associate, my husband and I would go back to him any time.

Every aspect of the pre-sale, sale, financing and vehicle turnover created a fantastic experience for me. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to the dealership. This is my second truck with the dealership. I would be remiss is I also did not comment on their excellent service department. They 'care' and that is what makes them stand apart.

This was my first time buying/leasing a Truck from Girard and I couldn't have been more pleased. Kerry G. was awesome. He is super knowledgeable about not just Toyota, but trucks in general which made it easy for me to trust his judgment. He also told me about payment options and how they worked that I was clueless about until then. One of those options is what made it possible for me to get my new Tacoma. When it came time to do paperwork he was very clear on what I needed to expedite the process. He made the whole thing very painless. I look forward to working with him in the future!! I love my new Truck

My sales rep was knowledgeable and fun to do business. It was not a chore and took time to answer all my questions. At delivery he got alot done before finance took over, which also was a breeze. I haven't had to take my car to service as yet so I cannot comment on that aspect. However, what I can see of your dealership, it is well run and your employees have been first rate. Thank you

This is the 3rd car I have bought from this dealership and each time ALL people involved bent over backwards to make sure I got a great deal! My salesman Rick V. was out standing he found exactly the car I wanted gave me a great trade in price for my trade and took care of everything!!! I have and will continue to recommend Girard Toyota to everyone. I won't go anywhere else.

I've bought several Tundras over the last few years for my wholesale sales company. My salesman was Rick V. and has gone out of his way several times - even arranging for rental cars & giving me a ride back to the office whenever we had scheduled maintenance & other service appointments. Always honest without any typical salesman stuff - highly recommend. In fact we're buying a new 2014 tundra next month from Rick who has it on order for us.

So I went to Girard Toyota last week, and ended up buying a certified used car. Wow, sounds awesome I thought. After agreeing to a price and deciding the car was a good deal for me, I went home and researched what it meant to be “certified”. On the Toyota website is a list of what makes a certified car, a 160 point inspection, that requires that these cars meet these requirements. A few days later, I arrived to pick up the car, and in the rush of signing the docs, I didn’t check the car out completely before I left. Meanwhile, a friend says to me, hey be careful, they(Girard) are famous for not supplying their certified cars with a matched set of tires. Well guess what I found, two different types of tires on the car. I reported back to my salesman, let’s say Perry for conversation sake, and he avoided answering my questioning numerous times and eventually stopped answering my emails, and didn’t respond to my call. Interesting sales tactic huh? I arrived to the dealer and spoke to a manager, that said, “well, if that’s what the website says about tires, then we will do it, but I will have to confirm that first.” I thought, really, you don’t know what a certified car is and what it takes to make it certified? That’s a joke, and I pulled out my iphone and pulled up the certification list on the Toyota site, showed it to him, to which he replied, let me speak to my service manager. Well after some more debate, and investigating on his part, he agreed to sign off on the tires. Beware people, Girard Toyota seems to be stereotypical dealership, they don’t even know what it takes to sell a certified car. I expressed my deep regret to the manager, and asked why Perry wouldn’t call or email me back to which he said, “he thought you were [violative content deleted]”. It couldn’t be the simple fact that your detailed certified 160 point inspection lists each item you test, check and guarantee and I merely wanted what was detailed. Such a difficult request, and so sorry to hurt your feelings Perry and you failed to deliver what you promised. At this point, Perry, the original salesman, didn’t have the decency or courage to apologize, or even look me in the eyes. Perry, you don’t deserve the business, and I will never recommend you to anyone, in fact, I will be certain to let people know the way in which you handled yourself. This dealership seems to be most interested in deceiving the customer, and only when pushed will they agree with what is detailed as the way they should sell a “certified” car. Why do I have to educate the dealership on what is certified? Buyer beware yet again. Educate yourself, and hold people to their word but I am sure it was just a simple misunderstanding and not a matter of deceit on their side. Oh, did I mention, the car had a safety recall that wasn't completed either, I had to go back for that as well. I found out by simply putting the vin # in the Toyota website. Must have been too difficult for them to figure out in the 5 days they had from when i shook their hand, to when I picked it up. Other items that were not addressed prior to me picking up the car. • trim on roof pulled up and bent • small dent in door(also not allowed as a certified car DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
