Apparently too rich to make a sale

by hadriel821 on 12/10/2014

Short and sweet. I contacted this dealership looking for a 2014 Q50 with a couple options. Gave them a very fair price that I wanted. Spoke with them a couple times. Received a call back stating that "they decided not to pursue my sale since they don't have the vehicle on the lot and would just lose money". Funny bit is, the same day, I asked another dealership (not going to name names because I'm not trying to promote one over the other) for a quote, didn't give them a price. they came back with a price for me that was 2k LESS than the price I asked Devan for. 2 days later I bought the car from the other dealership. fast forward 3 months - Devan infiniti still emails me asking if they can help despite the fact that I've emailed them back several times explaining the disdain I hold for their sales practices. I even sent them a pic of me next to the infiniti I bought elsewhere. still they email me like nothing happened. STEER CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE

Profesional Appeareance Bush League Follow Through

by fergus88 on 03/02/2008

Quite simply the entire experience in buying an Infiniti G-35 was a horror show. See my review of Harte Infiniti in New/West Haven Because of the terrible experience I had with Harte, I went to Devan. The process to arrive at a price for my trade in and for the vehicle was fair and professional. Then the wheels fell off the bus. The day prior to picking up the new vehicle I called to confirm the deal was in place for the following morning. At arrival to sign the paper work (after about 45 minutes in the store) the gross cap cost had changed. I pointed out the $398 discrepancy. They claimed they had not quoted me the price we had agreed to. This went back and forth for some time. They instead provided me a $500 benefit that they claimed they were under no obligation to pass on to me through Infiniti Leases and were unable to pass sell the car at the agreed upon price. Long story short. I reviewed the exchages we had and I was suckered by the classic bait and switch. I don't know what to say other than make sure you have time when you go to pick up your car to outlast unprofessional conduct.
