buying a chevy crueze

I was more than satisfied with McDermott Chevrolet ,I would recommend this dealership to anyone I know .my salesman marvin Henderson is the greatest man ,he is honest ,trustworthy ,and pleasant .I trust marvin and also was impressed with the new girl who wrote up the paperwork for us ,again she was pleasant and easy to talk to .if your looking for a vehicle new or used McDermott is the place to go .

Jake Ray was excellent. He worked with us until we were extremely happy with the car and truck we purchased. Armand in finance was excellent as well. He went through all paperwork and forms with precision and made us feel at ease with our purchases. We will be back!!!!

STAY AWAY FROM MCDERMOTT CHEVROLET! bad car, worse warranty

I WAS SOLD A PRE-OWNED LEMON & A BAD WARRANTY! details below... I am a single Mom who purchased a pre-owned 2004 car from Mcdermott Chevrolet in June of 2006. The Sales guy, Mike, sold it to me with a $1,700.00 extended warrenty. Mike had the nerve to ask me on a date after delivery. In May of 2008, The Front axle broke in half & the ball joints fell off the front wheels as I was driving at 15mph down a crowded city street. when I called the warranty company, I learned that they had closed up. When I called the dealership to talk to Mike, HE TRIED TO SELL ME THE NEW MODEL OF THE SAME CAR I BOUGHT THAT WAS FALLING APART! Months later, the radio started draining the battery, that too was replaced. then, in 2009, the Hub Assembly went, that was replaced. Then, in December of 2009, the wheels started rotting out & the tires wouldn't hold air. The service manager said that the car was off lease before I bought it, and the factory wheels were stolen while on lease, and they let the leasee put after market wheels on the car b/c "it was his friend". The service manager told me that he PUT IN NO CLAIMS FOR THE WARRANTY and to CASH IT OUT TO BUY NEW WHEELS! When I called the warranty company that had bought the "bad" warranty, I was told the policy was only worth $225.00 A FAR CRY FROM WHAT LOU TOLD ME IT WAS WORTH! I called their F&I guy who said he'd get to the bottom of it, buy never got back to me. STAY AWAY FROM MCDERMOTT CHEVROLET!
