XC90 Lease

We had an amazing experience. Both Mike in sales and Mike in service were very helpful and professional. We had an issue come up initially, and the manager got involved quickly to resolve it. Went above and beyond. Thank you again. We will be your customers hopefully for years to come.

We like our original owner XC70s from Volvo of Danbury

We bought two vehicles from Volvo of Danbury in the last 4 months; we travelled 2 ½ hours to visit the dealership. Our first purchase, an original owner black 2009 XC70 with approx. 90k miles, is a lovely car that was offered for sale at a good price. A few months later, we needed to replace one of our other cars. Liking the new style Volvo wagon with its in-line 6 cylinder engine, we again checked out Volvo of Danbury’s website and found a very nice original owner electric silver 2011 XC70 with approx. 150k miles, which was very well-priced reflecting the mileage, and again a lovely car. Knowing that both cars were originally sold and maintained at Volvo of Danbury was a key factor in our purchase decisions. For both purchases we found Volvo of Danbury’s Sales personnel (Kevin) to be very helpful and fair, and the Service manager (Melanie) kindly responded to our queries relating to vehicle servicing. Overall purchasing at Volvo of Danbury was a positive experience; the dealership tries to be fair in its dealings with the Customer and does strive to provide excellence in service.

Excellent Service

All the employees were very friendly and very professional. I bought a used Honda Civic which was in mint condition. The Finance Manager and my salesman Kevin were exceptional. Very pleased with my purchase.

New Volvo Owner

After searching many brands to replace my 10 yr, over 220k miles car, I ended up with a Volvo. It was Volvo of Danbury that had the customer service and generous discounts to finally decide to buy in Conn rather than in NJ. Jacob, my salesman, was very patient with my indecision to buy or lease. Love my car and with the help of Dylan and Eddie, I drove out of there with a good understanding of the car and all of the paperwork possible taken care of for me. Thank you all!!

I felt like a valued customer, and I did not buy a Volvo!

Many thanks to Melanie and Rob for arranging with Cadillac to get an extra key for the pre-owned Cadillac CTS I purchased at Volvo of Danbury. When I picked up the car I was certain once I drove away my request for a second key would be forgotten. I was immediately contacted the next day by Melanie and the service manager Rob helped arrange payment for the new key and programming. I could not have been treated better and felt like my business is appreciated, even though I did not buy a Volvo! I will recommend Volvo if Danbury to anyone in the market for a car, new or pre-owned.

In the last 10 years I've purchased three Volvos; two were from this dealership (we tried to buy the last one from them but the CPO XC60 we were after never came into their inventory).  The sales experience at a dealership is something that lasts anywhere from a day to a week.  Purchasing here was pretty painless with minimal haggle. I always received a minimum of book value for my trade and negotiated a very fair price within a few visits.  Service Departments are where loyal customers are made.  For example; I owned an Audi A4 Avant 2.8 Quattro that I really loved.  I purchased it in TN but when I moved here used Danbury Audi. I'll sum up my experience briefly.  I planned on keeping the car indefinitely.  As to be expected, at 7 years old and 100,000+ miles the car started to need service that required the dealer.  My experience here was so poor that after several visits, I called Audi USA and told them they were losing an enthusiastic customer to either BMW or Volvo.  (Given I'm writing this review you can guess which I went with). My service experience at Volvo of Danbury has been as far removed from the  Audi experience as could be.  I am always greeted very quickly (not left standing there while a rep stares through me like I'm a ghost) in a very friendly manner. Scheduling an appointment is never a problem.  And, seeing my V50 T5 AWD is now 8 years old and approaching 110,000 if I have an emergency, I am told to bring it in ASAP without an appointment.  Best of all, a loaner is ready for me when I arrive if needed.  Unlike any other dealer service department I've dealt with, repairs are handled with an eye towards cost mitigation. Critical repairs are handled right away after my approval, ones that can wait are noted on the invoice and an estimate is printed with it.  It's not the typical, "Hey, this is everything that needs to be done, so we are going to go ahead and do it; you're OK with this, RIGHT!"   With Volvo designing cars that push there performance envelopes closer to Audi/BMW and the outstanding service I've received at Volvo of Danbury I've become a Volvo consumer for life. I.E. we bought our first S60 in 2003 when we started a family.  Next came my V50 when I jumped ship from Audi.  When the family grew we moved to an XC60 after a 5 years with a lemon of a Subaru.  When shopping for the aforementioned, we didn't go into it with blind brand loyalty. We shopped CPO cars (the only cars I buy; they make the most fiscal sense) from Honda, Subaru, Toyota, VW, BMW and Nissan.  The combination of driving experience, quality of product, quality of service and value had us choosing Volvo three out of three times.   Now if 2014 V60 R-design would just get to the states, come 2016 we could make it 4 out of 4.

I do not like purchasing vehicles from dealerships because I am used to purchasing wholesale. I do not like to go back and forth with prices. I found a great car for my son for school on line. It was at Volvo Of Danbury so I decided to give it a try. They were so awesome! What a great experience from this place! They are truly professional! My salesman was Kevin he was wonderful. I like to get a bargain and they meet me half way. I got a really really great deal on a 2005 Lincoln Zephr for my son. The car is in pristine condition. The dealership put on new tires all four of them which is surprising because any time we purchase cars we always have to put new tires on whether we bought wholesale or not so it was great. They also did a wheel alignment and oil change. We did absolutely nothing but drive away. They are great. The car was ready when they said it would be everything was done quickly. It was a great experience I have told family and friends about Volvo of Danbury. I am now looking for another vehicle for my other son for his 21st birthday and I am hoping they will have another great car for us. We are looking forward to a long relationship with Volvo of Danbury and with our salesman Kevin.
