No customer care

by ZB on 10/06/2020

There is no customer care after purchase at this dealership. I bought a new car in July and as part of the sale was reassured that the dealership would renew my temp tags until the state sent my plates. When I called to ask about coming in for a new temp tag in September I was told by the receptionist that "your issue is with the state have a good day" and was hung up on. When I brought it in for an oil change the next day every person I asked in the service department just shrugged when I raised the issue. I then tracked down Albert who sold me the car and was told "theyre not pulling people over for it so were not issuing new tags". After I got a ticket for expired tags I called the dealership where the receptionist susan was shocked that I had been treated so bad and scolded me for not coming in and going to finance where they do that and going to other departments where its not there job like I was suppossed to know better. But she took my name and number and said the owner would get back to me. Three business days later and denied they'd ever heard from or that they would do any of what they had done.

Much better dealers around!!

by scottc3 on 08/10/2017

Evan Macklin - RUN from this guy!! Yes, I admit, he had me fooled - thought he was a credible car guy - turns out NOT. Quoted us $40,100 out the door (Boulder Tax rate) on a Pathfinder SL with Premium option includes mud flaps and nice carpet covers (forget what you call these). Done deal - call him in the AM to see if the car is ready - 'they can't find it - must of sold last night" - you know the drill. He's looking for another - Text him, call him, for updates, no response for the rest of the day. HOW CAN PEOPLE BEHAVE LIKE THIS? Thanks for reinforcing all the negative about car sales people. Seems to be true in your case. This is not a review of the dealer as much as it is for Evan. Lucky us, found the exact same car, same options, same price within $200 and it's now in our possession.

really great dealership

by westernreader on 12/17/2013

Bought a new Xterra in 2007. Probably be purchasing another one in a few years from them. These folks, in both service and sales, rock. JD in service is a great guy, really knowledgeable. I drive all the way down from the mountains to get my Xterra serviced. Oh, and the car is literally bullet proof!

best car buying experience I've had!!

by t2l0y07 on 07/22/2013

I purchased a 2012 Nissan Rogue a week ago from Ana P. I LOVE my new car and this dealership is great to work with. On the test drive I told Ana what I could put down and what my trade in was. When we got back to the dealership she gave these numbers to the manager and told me we had a deal. They got better financing for me than anyone else around here could. The people are great, not pushy and manipulative. I recommend this dealership to everyone!!

Stay AWAY !!!!!!! Dishonest and horrible service

by trakbrandon on 10/25/2010

I purchased a used Nissan from this dealership and the sales person lied about what was done to the car and damaged my fuel tank door when trying to fix the fuel cover and refused to replace the damaged part. I bought the Xterra at night and when I returned the next day to the service department to verify the work the sales person said was done (e.g. full fluid change, new brakes, brand new tires) the service department said none of that was done and the only thing they did was change the oil. These factors were very much considered when I negotiated the price of the car. When confronted they refused to perform the work they said they would do. Also, i received some service quotes form them and compared them to my very honest mechanics prices ( Strictly Automotive.. the best !) they were 3 times the amount. Basically, from my experience, they will lie to sell you a car and then refuse to back up what they say. The finance manager also lied about interest rate the bank offered!!! Southwest Nissan seems to be a better dealership as I had good experiences with them so far.

No tricks, pleasant surprise!

by glenski01 on 10/02/2007

I recently purchased a new Xterra from Empire Nissan. Everyone I encountered at the dealership were professional and courteous. The Sales demonstration of the vehicle was suberb, the salesman new the product and the features. The negotiated process was basically painless (although I did have to say no to 2 or 3 initial offers). No tricks (a very pleasant surprise to me) were attempted with the Finance guy, he was upfront, helpful, found the best interest rate out there (and it was not with Nissan Credit) and did not go overboard or get rude with me when I said I did not want the extended warranty. I left with my new car, was not worn out, and felt like I got a very fair deal (and I had done quite a bit of price research prior to going to the dealership) Very happy with the transaction and the vehicle.
