Poor work

Communication with general manager was the worst experience ever. And collision center needs better experience on painting and learning how to prep vehicle before spraying. Didn’t know you had to clear coat window glass and chrome on a new vehicle. And giving a time frame in that place is a sore subject. Never could get a date of completion until started complaining to the BBB. And when they said the vehicle was done. Arrived to pay and pick it up and Easley to say it still wasn’t finished. But general manager lied to BBB in saying it was done to Satisfaction. He even stored vehicle free of charge until we got there. 7months of run around stories and crappy work. That what you get when go to GHENT CHEVROLET.

Sales Made Promises that Service Could Not Keep

I bought a 2024 Chevy Silverado from Ghent on 7/4/23. The sales person did not know that the "travel tires" were on the vehicle. He told me at the end of the buying process that I could not drive the vehicle off the lot, but that the service team would install the correct tires the next morning, he would pick me up, and I would drive him back to the dealership and I would have my vehicle. I operate on a day-rate contract. Because this was my new work truck and I had no backup, I lost an entire day's wages because of this delay. But the next morning I did not receive a call. I had to call the dealership at 10:30a, at which time I was told the correct tires had not arrived, and I would have to wait an undefined amount of time in order to take possession of the vehicle. This was unacceptable, as I could not afford to lose another day of work. I ultimately had to drive to the dealership in my uncle's car and force the issue. Luis, one of the sales managers, was very polite and made apologies and was able to get me in to the service department "early", which ended up being 3:00pm that afternoon, for a set of temporary tires. But when I finally picked the vehicle up, it had temporary tires, only a quarter tank of gas, and only one key. I had to put another $75 into gas to go to work the next day. It took a negative Google review to get anyone to call me and actually start to deal with my problem. As of now (7/11/23 - seven days after my vehicle's purchase), I have an appointment for Friday, 7/14/23, to get tires and my tonneau cover put on the truck (which will cost me another day of work off). While Luis has been very polite and has kept in contact with me to make sure my tires and tonneau cover were scheduled as quickly as possible, I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth regarding my Ghent experience and would recommend against my friends/family/colleagues purchasing a vehicle there for the following reasons: 1. Lost a day of work because the dealership did not have correct tires on the vehicle. 2. Lost $75 in fuel because the dealership did not give me possession of the vehicle with a full tank of gas (like they said they would) 3. Ten full days from time of purchase to when I actually received what I purchased (should it really take that long for wheels and a tonneau cover?) 4. A rude service department - took the attitude of "It's not my problem, therefore there's nothing I can do". I felt like they were looking at me as the problem, even though I was only expecting the time frames their sales department told me! 5. ZERO compensation for my lost wages/time, other than an apology (which was nice) and a promise to get things done as quickly as possible (again, nice). While I appreciate that, I've talked to others about my experience and they tell me their experience with other dealerships who have compensated customers for lost time/money by throwing in perks, upgrades, etc. Having spent a significant amount of money with Ghent, I guess I expected a little more. Or, at the very least, the same as friends who have received a much better experience having spent less with other dealers. Despite Luis' attempts to apologize and keep me informed (which, again, I appreciate), I'm left with a bitter taste in my mouth and can say with certainty I will not be recommending Ghent to anyone I know.

Seamless service

The Ghent Cadillac service department is one of the most professional with which I have ever worked! They picked up my car over an hour away (in Vail) and provided a quality loaner. Their service department performed all corrections in a timely manner and at 100% A great experience!

Fabulous Customer Service / Sales Process

I was recommended to Angel at Ghent Motors by a friend who said he was absolutely the best sales associate in the business. I was not disappointed as Angel crafted a favorable deal over the phone with me within one hour and delivered an incredible car to Vail the next day. I cannot say enough about the ease of the transaction and the value he created fir me. Love my Cadillac!

Customer service is not a priority here anymore:(

Was completely ignored by service department staff for the first 3 minutes Had to ask attendant for help and was then made to feel like I was an inconvenience to him. Service bay doors were closed when usually opened so I had to walk around the building to get to service department only to be ignored. I had an appointment and was told it couldn’t be found. Service for customers after the purchase of vehicles is terrible and will keep me from purchasing another car there in the future. I also had to come back the next day to have some minor yet inconvenient issues resolved that were overlooked the previous visit

Honest dealership

I went in to try and buy an Acadia, but I didn't have the credit history for it and I was told honesty what my situation was and I ended buying a Altima to build my history. Angel stayed late to get the job done and also bought me some floor mats out of his own pocket. If you guys need a good honest salesmen ask for Angel!!

Went to Ghent to get my daughter her first car as a early graduation gift. Our sales rep Roman and Sales Manager Jaime were great. Worked hard to get us a great car to fit our budget. The finance department had us in and out really quick. They even helped us surprise her with it. Thanks so much.

Don't purchase a vehicle from here unless you are willing to wait for month

My husband and i went to your dealer about a month ago already. And we cant seem to get financing to call us back to let us know whats going on. I have left several voice messages and no returned call. I left a vehicle for trade and the company i have that vehicle financed with is now calling us constantly wondering what is going on . Well so do we. This is the worst customer service i have ever gotten from a dealership. Someone please cotact me as soon as possible. I love my vehice and i'm enjoying it, but this is starting to be very frustrating. Don't get me wrong, our sales rep wich was fernando loma was awsome treated us well and answered all our questions. Ater that this deal started going down hill. 4 messages in 1 week and various e-mails and no one can contact me now thats frustrating. I will keep you all posted as to what happens.
