onMy experience at Markley Honda was so easy and fast! Bob Winkler was so helpful and helped me get the best deal I could get. I was originally going to trade my car for a used CR-V but the one I originally wanted had been sold so then Bob helped me get an amazing deal on a new CR-V! He is an amazing salesman, I didn’t feel pressured into buying right away and answered any questions I had.

onBuying a new car can be stressful and scary. But Brad at Markley in Fort Collins was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable he made us feel confident that we were getting the best deal. Brad let us explore our options without the pressure you may deal with at other car dealerships. I will be referring him to my family and friends.

Not such a good price....

onTried to make a deal on a new Pilot with a CR-V to trade. The "deal" here would have cost me about $6000 more than the deal I got elsewhere. It's a free market economy in this country, so they had a chance to get my business, but they missed out. In fact, I actually felt a little insulted after they made their offer on my CR-V, which was almost doubled by the dealership in Cheyenne.

onI called first to see if the used car I was interested in was still available. Because it was exactly what I'd been looking for I decided to drive up to Denver to see it. My salesman was laid-back, zero pressure and kept in contact with me throughout the process. The "new" car needed a part and the Markley team wanted to finish the install and check-up on the vehicle before completing the trade. I was thrilled to get the car of my dreams and happy they gave me a fair deal on my trade. Highly recommend these guys and would absolutely go back for another purchase - - - Thank you, Markley Honda!!

Pleasant, No Pressure Purchase Experience

onThe sales staff is courteous, professional, knowledgeable and not pushing you to make a purchase. They do all they can to get the information you want in order for you to make an informed decision. And the financing process was pretty painless. I was pleasantly surprised at the finance terms they were able to work out for me.
Old Fashion Customer Service Never Goes out of Style

onWhen we first contacted the dealership there were some communication problems. We kept at it and so to the credit of Malarkey motors did they and all things were resolved and we now have a car we love!

Did not want to honor the Edmunds Price Promise

onEverything was alright (except that they rushed me through everything) until I tried to purchase the car. I had the Edmunds Price Promise Certificate, specific to the vehicle, but they refused to honor it, and made me sit for several hours in their showroom while they "talked about it" in the back. I look very young and I am sure that they thought I would give in easily. I didn't think they would give me a deal, but somehow they "accidentally" did (according to the salesman.) This was only apparent after they had drawn up all the paperwork. It was a bizarre experience, and it appears that they gave me the same price as the Price Promise independently from the offer they posted online. If I hadn't gotten the correct final price I would give them 1 star. Why post an offer online with no intention of honoring it?? Beware if you are trying to buy from them that they might try not to honor the Price Promise certificate! They also gave me very little information about the payment plan, and the licensing, so I have no idea when I will get my plates.

The sales office was great! The finance office was a nightmare

onI will start off by saying that I was really impressed with the men in the internet sales office, especially John H. He was great and had everything ready to show us when we got there. We drove 6 hours to get to Fort Collins to look at the car we wanted, and John made the trip worth our time. The price of the CR-V was great, it was the exact car we wanted, John threw in some extras and some additional money off! Everything seemed to be going smoothly that night as we drove our new CR-V off the lot. That is where the pleasant experience ended with Markley Motors. Three weeks after this, I went to the County Clerks office to get plates for the new car to discover that they had yet to receive the title and lease information from Markley. I called Markley to find out that the person who did our lease screwed up and we needed to sign a new one. I told the lady I talked to that we live 6 hours away and she offered to overnight the paperwork to us. I said that wasnt necessary as we were heading to Denver the next day and we would just stop by to expedite the process. Needless to say I was not pleased by this and I was not happy that I was the one that had to reach out to Markley when they should have called us to say there was a problem. I was equally upset that if Markley did not have the title ready for us to take with us when we came to re-sign everything we would be fined by the State of South Dakota because we did not get the plates on the car within the required amount of time. Since the lease was originally rejected by Honda Financial Services, we also had not received information on how to make our monthly payments. I told the lady this when we were in her office re-signing everything and she asked me to write a check that day to Markley for our payment amount. I did this willingly, wanting to avoid any late payment charges. We left Markley again thinking that everything was all squared away. Monday rolls around and I check our bank account to see if they had cashed the check, they had. We thought we were back on track. About two weeks later we received the information and bill from Honda Financial Services, telling us how to go online and pay and lo and behold we had a late fee and nice note saying we missed our first payment. Imagine my shock when I see that Markley cashed our $250 check but did not send the money to Honda Financial. So because we are responsible adults, we paid our next months bill and the late fee and called Honda Financial Services to let them know what was happening. They were lovely to deal with and waived the late fee and offered to call the dealership if we needed them to. I told them I will try and figure out what is going on first and call them back. We called Markley and spoke to someone in their finance office and the guy said that they will refund us the money we paid them in the first place and overnight the check to us so we can then pay Honda Financial. That was Friday morning, and here we are on Monday afternoon with no check and us getting the run-around from the finance department at Markley. Overall, I am glad we love our CR-V because we will never go back to Markley for anything else. It seems they are having some turnover problems at the dealership and it is effecting their overall customer service. I sure hope to get that refund check quickly or the angry phone calls to Markley

Easy, quick, courteous, and got a great price!

onGot a very competitive quote over the internet from Markley. I called 5 minutes after receiving the quote. The salesman Thomas knew who I was and said they had the model I wanted in stock. 30 minutes later we arrive with the vehicle waiting for us. A very thorough presentation was given. Two and half hours later we had the financing terms completed and keys in hand. Our salesman was incredibly helpful and made it our best car buying experience to date.
