What a service center is SUPPOSED to be!

Mike Maroone Chevrolet South is the only dealership that I trust to service my C8 Corvette. This is my 3rd Corvette in 20 years and I have had bad experiences with other dealerships, but this specific location has staff that is consistently the most professional, friendliest, and knowledgeable of any I have used. I just had my 15,000 mile service completed and Josh handled it expertly from start to finish, even noticing that I had a nail in my tire and taking care of it for me. He thoroughly went through everything that was accomplished as well as the multi-point checkup results. While I was waiting in the customer area, I was able to interact with several staff members and they all were extremely pleasant and accommodating. This will continue to be the ONLY place that I take my C8.

Mike Maroone Chevrolet South is the only dealership that I trust to service my C8 Corvette. Appointment vehicle service

Carl was excellent!!. Great customer service! Carl pushed getting my purge valve replaced in my car. I had an appointment on February 4th, 2023, Saturday @0700, that I set 2 weeks prior with Mike Tolvich. I was to drop my car off Friday night and drop my keys in the drop box, which I did. I also called Friday morning @1000 to confirm my appointment. I spoke with Mike, on the phone, and he said he wasn't working Saturday on top of telling me that he forgot about my appointment and was not even aware. I set that appointment with him in person. (Why would you tell a customer that anyways?? Especially the customer who has come to you for years??). Mike said Carl would be working Saturday and he would relay the information to Carl. Come to find out, Mike did not tell Carl because when I called at 1030 in the morning on Saturday to check on my car...Carl says he had no idea about my appointment and that Mike didn't tell him anything....(Shouldn't it be in the computer??!!! I received several email reminders!!! How was it that no one was aware of my "all day appointment"!!!) Carl said he would see what he can do, and would get back to me. Carl got it handled, last minute. Carl got my car serviced in less than 3 hours. I picked up my car around 1430. I was extremely upset of how Mike handled the situation. I have been servicing my car there since 2014 and do not appreciate how I get blown off by Mike. This is not the first time Mike has treated me like I'm not important enough for his time for years. I thank God that Carl was able to take care of me. He is a really good person and has great communication skills. THANK YOU CARL! I apologize for going off on you because of Mike's carelessness. I will be handling my car with you from now on. Thank you!!

John Steckman best person to see!

I worked with John for buying a truck for my girlfriend. She wanted it to pull a horse trailer. I fully expected the sales guys to try to sell her too much truck! John was helpful and professional, he never once suggested to buy a 2500 or bigger truck. He was very knowledgeable on the different trucks they had. He showed us used and new trucks and tried to work the best he could to meet our budget. Because of his work ethic we leased a new Silverado 1500 to help get rid of her negative equity in her GMC Terrain she traded in (johns suggestion). I liked how he treated us soo much I ended up trading in my 2018 Toyota Avalon Hybrid for a 2018 Chevy Tahoe! We bought two truck from him! Trust me if you are looking for a honest salesman at Mike Maroon John Steckman will do his best to get you in the vehicle you need and want, not just sell you a car or truck! Go see him. -BM
