HORRENDOUS Customer Service

HORRENDOUS Customer Service!!!! My 2016 Kia Sorento with less than 80K miles, blew the head gaskets?! They offered to replace my engine for a mere $11K. They offered me $1000 Trade-In (I got the same amount from another dealership that doesn't even sell Kia's!). Trying to get into a used car with them that I could afford was useless. They wouldn't work with me at all on the trade in and "iced" us for several hours sitting in the lobby so they could pitch me on a new car that there is no way I could afford. When I called to speak to Courtney the General Manager to ask for a courtesy waiving of the $180 diagnostic fee so the reputable dealership I got a car from could tow my old car away - he outright refused to take or return my calls. Super Shady. Arapahoe Kia - NOT a Great Idea!!!!

Great Buying Experience

Best Experince

I have now purchased 3 cars from Arapahoe Kia. We came in for service on our 15 Sorento and ended up leaving in a new 19 Sorento. The salesmen Joe went above and beyond. Joe made this the best car buying experience in my life! Thanks again Joe

Overall a Better Experience Than I Expected!

Disclosure: I am not being paid or endorsed by this dealer in any way. This is only my personal experience and opinion. Also, I've only dealt with sales and not service. Initially I stopped by to test drive the new 2020 KIA Telluride. Their salesman Derrick was very friendly and helpful. I was also really glad that they weren't pushy as that is my biggest turnoff when stepping foot onto a dealership lot. As I was doing my research on this car, I kept being referred to Arapahoe Kia from Costco. Sam's Club on the other hand uses Truecar.com and refers you to multiple dealers, including this one (assuming you're local to the Denver metro area). At the time of my research, I have to commend them for not charging over MSRP when I knew of at least one other dealership in town already doing so but due to the popularity of this car, most likely many of the dealerships will follow suite. I don't agree with that but it seems to be the nature of business, supply and demand. Since I'm not in a hurry to own one, I was in the market for my own commuter car as my lease was coming up. Again, Costco referred me to Arapahoe Kia and got me in touch with Lori Lucy. I cross-shopped with many local Kia dealerships and you'll get the usual runaround that many car shoppers despise, but ultimately Arapahoe Kia was the one most willing to do business and got me to a price point I was asking for. I have to admit that the last time I bought a car it was through a broker and I've been spoiled ever since as I literally had to do nothing but sign a few signatures. But dealing with Lori Lucy and Andy Olson at Arapahoe Kia was also a much easier process than I expected. They complied with all of my requests and I walked out of their happy with a brand new car. Thanks again to everyone at the Arapahoe Kia family!

Happy Customer

Just bought a 2016 Sorento from Arapahoe Kia and am pleased with the overall process. Everyone was courteous, pricing was in line with Edmunds TMV and there was no high pressure attempts to sell unnecessary add-ones. Would definitely buy from them again.

We had the best experience at Arapahoe Kia! I would definitely return to this dealership for my next car purchase and recommend them to family and friends. General Manager, Dustin P., treated our family fairly and with great respect. I believe that they truly value happy customers who will return in the future.

Great compared to Fisher KIA

This was one of the better car buying experiences I've ever had when directly dealing with a dealer. I test drove my KIA Soul here but decided to use the COSTCO auto buying service instead. What a mistake (read my Fisher KIA review). I came back to this dealer on the rebound and its where I should have gone to buy to begin with. They offered better than TMV pricing and gave me add-ons at dealer discounts. It was a very quick and professional buying experience. I would go there again in the future.

Don't buy from them!!

When I first walked in the salesmanager said he knew me from somewhere. Tried to lie to build relationship. Then they tried to get our social right away before agreement was worked out for a vehicle and we weren't sure if we were going to use them until an agreement was worked out. We said no and they said that running a credit report does not take points off your credit score which is a lie! Beware they use their own sticker prices and remove the Manufactures sticker price. This is legal however he told me it was not their sticker prices but the manufacturers which was a lie it was 23,060 on the vehicle and the manufacturers is different. Be carefull when dealing with them. We went to lunch and came back and they told us they sold the vehicle and the vehicle was still on the lot. And there wasn't anybody there when we left and came back 30 minutes later and it is impossible to sell a vehicle and do all the paperwork in 30 minutes. I know car salesman lie all the time but they lied about stupid things. The clearbra we had put on was awfull we had ot get it done 2X and it is all wrinkly and poor quality. They also said they gave us such a great deal and that they still did not have a sign because they needed a good review from us when Kia sent it. Never got review and would never give a good review or recommend this dealership to anyone. Buyer beware. They expect you to bargain so raise sticker prices and incentives and NEVER pay prep fees of $495 they took the truck to a carwash and dried it with a hard towel is that worth $495?? Prep fees are included in sticker price anyway which they mark up.. RIP OFF!!!!
