We needed a new vehicle that met some pretty specific requirements. While researching various vehicles from various dealerships in Tracy and other cities, we spoke to sales consultant Landon Cotton at Tracy Toyota. While I am sure he really wanted to make the sale, he acted as though he was genuinely concerned with getting us into the right vehicle and he was not in any way pushy or forceful in his technique, which was pretty much the opposite of the characteristics we found in the salesmen at most of the other dealerships. After we had done our own research, taking into account the vast amount of information we received from Mr. Cotton, we decided to purchase a Prius from Tracy Toyota. We came back to the dealership and asked for Landon Cotton specifically. He spent the next few hours (which was drastically shorter than our past experiences had been when purchasing vehicles) ensuring that the Prius really was the right car for us, completing the purchase process and getting us on the road in the new vehicle that was perfect for our very specific needs.

It's really disappointing that I am in the process of having to return a car I purchased from your dealership in Tracy. After coming in and looking for the perfect car we found the prius the we were looking for. We did the back and forth and finally came to an agreement. We were more than forthcoming with our information and finances and through the process, we continuously asked if we should wait til the banks are open so that way we are not worried about your dealership finding financing. After being reassured from the sales person as well as the finance manager we went through with the deal. Then, no contact for almost a week and a half after we called and asked if they were able to find financing, and we got no response until the 28th via email saying that they were still trying to find financing and if they didn't then we would need to return the car. This is the main reason we asked before we made the deal because we did not want this to be a problem. Then were told that we were sent a letter informing "sellers right to cancel" which we were familiar with already which is the reason we were trying to contact the finance department. The letter we finally received was dated the 20th sent out on the 21st and and delivered on the 23rd. If all that could happen it's hard to believe that we could not get a return phone call during the 10 days seeing as how we were very interested in finding out if they were able to provide financing. Now almost 3 weeks later we are having to return the car because your finance department, which said they would guarantee us financing, shook our hands and that we had "nothing to worry about" is demanding the car back as if we ever refused to do so. The experience in the beginning and during the sales process was great. Friendly service, informative and a not so bad process. But not the fact that this is happening really puts a sour taste in our mouth. I don't feel like the dealership is stepping up to their part of the process and trying to find a reasonable solution to something they "guaranteed" would not be a problem...so here we are having to return a car we already insured, ordered modifications for abs basically adapted into our everyday lives. It's just a sad situation that could have been avoided had they told us the truth in the beginning. The customer service we received in the beginning was great and we told people about it and recommended that people go there for their car needs. But after this experience and the fact that they are not willing to work with us in anyway and the demanding of the car justifies us feel like we were bamboozled. At this point the good reviews seem to be ridiculous and now we are having to let people really know how this dealership likes to smile and say everything is ok, when really its just a "promise" and "guarantee" they really holds no weight because when it's all said and done, as long as they date a paper for the 10th day and regardless of when we receive it (12 days later) they will just take your car away. If only a handshake held as much weight as it did in the past, and a person had to honor that handshake. Just a situation that we thought you should know about since it is your dealership that has done this to us, and who knows how many others.And on top of that I was told I would get all my money back but instead these fool with ahead and processed my check when the car was return to them . All this has been a horrible experience.

just right when you walk in, you can feel the positive vibe of this dealership. The people are so welcoming and you can sense that you'll be taken care of. Indeed, it was a very good experience buying my Toyota. A week after buying my Toyota i had went back cause i had a questions and again EXCELLENT customer service!!!! Very helpful Caring. Definitely if your looking for a toyota you have too check this place out!!

We called in and around looking for the 2015 Prius Persona Edition. We were lucky enough to get Landon when we called into Tracy Toyota. Right from the beginning he wass very helpful and knowledgable of the car we were looking for and he offered to pull them out so we could look at the different options when we came into the dealership. To make things even esaier we asked if we could submit our application online and he quickly emailed us the application, and when we finished we called and he was able to pull our application and start the process. We then came into the dealership and the cars were there for us to look at. He was very informative and we took it for a test drive and in no time did we feel pressured. Since our application was already ran, it was simply processing the information and working out the numbers. With a little bit of back and forth we were able to come to an agreement that we were very pleased with. The value they gave us for our trade in was also higher than the other dealerships we went to, and for that we were also very pleased. We feel like we got the best deal for the value of the car, and the atmosphere and professionalism definitely made the experience that much more easy, fast, and enjoyable. When looking in the future we will definitely return to Tracy Toyota and make another deal with Landon.

My family has purchased four (4) toyota camery's from Tracy Toyota. Today I went to buy a car. I selected a fully loaded Toyota Prius Model 5 sticker price US$ 25,995.00 It was great a big big dissappoint after waiting for 3-1/2 hours and their finance manager coming and saying thats the wrong sticker price and they don't know who put that price. This was shocking to me. These people are professionals, how can they do this. I would never go to their show room and tell others also never trust toyota staff.

would definitely recommend Tracy Toyota. I've been hoping around for a new car for while now and drove by and saw this Tacoma so I went in to check it out. A few salesman asked me if I needed help but I told them I was just looking around, generally I would get some stuck up attitude but they didn't act like the typical sales hacks. After doing a little more research about the Tacoma I was ready to make my buy. I was still kind of hesitant because I just don't like dealing with people trying to sell me more than I need but I am glad I came here, the sales people were not annoying, finance was fast and they seemed organized. Overall it was a stress free experience at my own pace.
