Great experience at Acura South Bay

I inquired on line about the RDX that I was interested in. John Shea answered promptly and put me in contact with his sales manager, Jennifer. She responded quickly answering my questions and getting all the information. A couple days later I met with John and bought my new 2024 Acura RDX. Everyone I dealt with from John, Jennifer and the Finance Department were professional and made the process very easy.

Awesome Service - Honest

My experience AutoNation Acura in Torrance first started off with the mandatory recall, and since I was there I wanted to fix a broken door lock. I was first told that there were no loaner cars and you had to reserve at least six weeks in advance to get a loaner car so I wasn’t very happy at first. I started walking back home which was about 11 miles away. Not even thinking about asking for a shuttle or Uber services. After a few miles (7.3) I called up a friend to pick me up as I was a bit tired now. As soon as I got home I got a phone call to come back to the dealer. Yes, I called the same friend to take me back to the dealer and that they couldn’t explain over the phone and that they would have a loaner for me. Once I got to the dealer, Steven my service advisor Informed me that while they were fixing the door somehow, they shorted/took-out my multi-view camera system and he assured me that that’s not a problem I came in with and that he was even upset that this even happened. He now then proceeded to tell me that they’re going to keep the cart for a few days and now a loaner was available. I was Kept informed at all time with any new changes. The next day I was told to keep the loaner for a few more days as they needed to calibrate the system a bit further. They ended up changing my camera system, of course at no charge. I was quite surprised how honest my service advisor Steven (Autonation Acura) was again, he clearly repeated "My vehicle" did not come in with that issue, So at this point my possible rating went from 3 stars to five stars for such a honest behavior towards an Acura owner as my self. I would definitely bring my car again - they were a bit pricey for repairing the door locks but well worth the end result. Thank you. Fernando

Damaged Lock Resolved

Recently someone broke into my car and the lock on the driver’s door needed to be replaced. The damaged lock launched an issue that was draining my battery. Very frustrating! I took my car to another AAA shop first and they failed to resolve the mystery battery draining. So I headed to Torrance AutoNation Acura where the problem was diagnosed pretty quickly. The repair was completed, new lock was rekeyed to match old lock so that I need just one key. Steve was really helpful and kept me posted about cost and timeline. I think the cost of the repair was reasonable.
