Great experience at Mossy Nissan Kearny Mesa!

by jv25 on 02/12/2013

I shopped at several dealers before stopping at Mossy Nissan. The sales person was very helpful with my needs and was able to get me in and out of the dealership quickly. I was impressed with the service and didn't feel pressured at all.

by truthful72 on 01/23/2013

Came wi no rush of buying it was a Saturday ending up supposively getting a deal that same week finance manager tells me I need to come in and resign a new contract with higher rate and less monthly so I did and then 2 weeks later still getting a call for the trade in that they haven't paid my pay off .horrible scam came her in good faith they supposively sent the pay off when they gave me the acct number it,was the wrong one . Already told them to unwind the deal they act like they are doing me a favor for buying a car where they have a lot full of them

Inconsistent customer service, poor communication

by fairguy on 10/29/2010

I left this dealership although I was ready to make my purchase for a number of reasons. I don't want this to sound like I'm a disgruntled customer so I'll just say that there were several odd and inconsistent events that occurred while I was negotiating for my vehicle that left me baffled by the lack of customer service emphasis. While most of the interaction was pleasant and helpful, the closing completely fell apart. I would never recommend anyone to this dealer, but if they go, be mindful of what you are signing for -- confirm everything in writing and don't let yourself be pressured onto their terms.

Mossy Nissan Kearny Mesa Car Buying

by tbinton on 07/19/2010

Just got my new Altima at Kearny Mesa Mossy Nissan and I can't find one thing to complain about. The entire experience was probably the best car purchase I've ever made. No wasting my time, no pressure and no nonsense. Got all the information about cost, trade-in and financing and was out of there in no time at all. I would definitely buy from Mossy Nissan Kearny Mesa again.

The Mossy Way to Buy

by thurner on 02/17/2008

This dealership is owned by the Mossy Nissan group in San Diego. Unfortunately it is not run the way the commercials that I have heard here in San Diego say it did. I am sad to say that the Mossy Way is now the highest pressure lot I have been on. Yesterday my wife and I started a search for her next vehicle. She wants an SUV or a crossover but has never driven either. So we test drove Honda CRV and Pilot, Toyota RAV4 and Highlander, even an Acura MDX, finally stopping at Nissan to drive the Murano and the Rogue. In each case except Mossy Nissan we were treated with courtesy and respect. They let us drive the cars, they gave us the specials, and their best wishes on our search for a vehicle. At Mossy we were taken for a test drive only after providing all our contact info (I am waiting for the all the phone calls that will follow). Then when we returned to the lot the lady kept asking what trim level we wanted. She then tried to sit us down at the offer table. When we said we were not interested in purchasing today. Angela (our sales person) said "Your mean you just came to test drive" with attitude that said thanks for wasting my time. Then we politely asked for her card in case we should decide on the Murano and we then got the dreded "Let me get my manager" who also then tried to convince us that we should buy a car today to get the best specials. This is a classic high pressure sales site. For this reason alone the Nissan vehicles have been dropped from our search. How can you expect a consumer to drop 20 to 40K on a vehicle and think treating them in this fashion is fair?
