Beware when buying a "Certified" car from this dealership! I recently bought a "Certified Pre-Owned" SQ5 from this dealership only to have it in for service twice and have to spend over $2,000 on brakes after around 1000 miles of driving it... I took a hard look at the paperwork and it appears that the Certified Audi Technician seems to have exaggerated (LIED!) on the paperwork... As an example, the portion on the breaks show the brake pads "all" at 7mm which is impossible as front and rear wear different. When I took it to a different Audi dealer, they measured them in front of me and in fact they were; Front 5mm and Rear 2mm!!! This is all in around 1000 miles. In fact, the new dealership did not want me to drive off with it for safety reasons. On top of this, it is the same situation with the rotors; Certification says 23mm and actually 20.5mm. I did call the selling dealer and was actually accused of taking it to the track and tearing it up??? Is there even a track in So Cal? I was appalled by the response and had to file a claim with Audi N America and that is getting me nowhere! It feels like they did not want the cost of new breaks to certify it so they lied... Makes me wonder what else I am going to find? This is my first Audi and I am rethinking the entire brand...

Excellent Audi Dealership

My second new Audi in 16 months from Audi San Diego. An excellent dealership in all respects. My sales lady, Natasha Fulton, sold me both cars and I have not found a better sales person at any dealership. If you are looking for a new or used Audi, HIGHLY recommend this dealer and Natasha as your sales person.

Refusing to release my

My wife and I wanted to buy a specific Q7. Greg the sales rep told me that there were none available in San Diego. He then claimed that he found out that the exact Q7 we wanted was on the ship in the dock and convinced me to put a $2,000 fully refundable deposit to hold it because it was in such high demand. He claimed that it was on the dock and would be at his store within 3 days. Then 3 days came and he told me it was still coming, but it would be another two days. Then that time passed and he said it would be there in 3 more days. I found another dealer who had a Q7 in stock that we wanted and I was told that a "Greg from Audi San Diego" had called that store asking the dealer to transfer the Q7 to Audi San Diego and suggested that Greg never had the vehicle but was trying to get a "dealer trade" so that he could secure the sale. After I purchased the Q7 from another store, Greg stopped responding to calls and texts. I spoke with the General Manager who also seemed frustrated that I purchased the Q7 from another store but said my money would be returned. It's now been more than 3 weeks and Audi San Diego has not refunded my money.

Our sales guy, Greg was very patient and very attentive to what we were looking for. He was diligent in locating a car that had every detail that I was looking for. Then when it came time to negotiate, the sales manager, Johnny, was great to work with - he is straight up and no nonsense - and we were checking every number and comparing online right in front of him..to make sure he was being straight up with us....and he WAS! In the end, we got a great deal on an awesome A6 and I couldn't be happier!! If you want a great deal and no nonsense and someone who is gonna be straight up.....Go here!!!

My salesperson, Yvonne C., was more than qualified as an Audi Salesperson. I had been looking for a Q7 for over 3 wks and talked to 10 dealerships in 3 states. Most we're not interested in finding me the car I wanted until I talked to Yvonne. Within 10 days of talking to her I had the car in my driveway. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE

DO NOT trust this dealership. My husband and I put money down and specially ordered a vehicle. We made a deal BEFORE we ordered the vehicle, vehicle gets here AND everything changes. Literally they can not honor ANY part of the deal. Absolutely no integrity and the biggest group of [non-permissible content removed] I have ever encountered. They will be out of business soon if they continue to treat customers like this. We will get our money back and wait another 2 months for the custom car and give our money to another dealership that has integrity and values its customers. Buyer beware, these people are [non-permissible content removed]. STAY AWAY!!

Good Purchase

Leased new jetta from them back in march 2008. Its almost been 3 years and I have moved to texas now. I had no problems with the lease or the car. Still love the car and how it drives. The dealer did not try to upsell anything and the financing went fine too. The dealer actually got the car from another dealer who had quoted me 10% more for the same car! So they have good prices too. Comparing them to other dealers of overhyped cars like honda/toyota, vw dealers (including miramar vw) are very nice. ps: Im not getting paid for this. I was just visiting the edmunds website after making a recent mazda purchase so I thought Id say some good things about miramar vw - though after almost 3 years!

Just purchased a 2009 Jetta S 2.5L manual. The buying experience was excellent. Never any pressure to buy. I made 4 trips to the dealership to look at different models over a 2-week period, after checking out inventory/pricing on their website. The Sales Rep came in on her day off two of those trips. Once I decided which model I wanted, she worked very hard to get me a deal that I could live with and not break my bank account.
