onOne of, if not the best car buying experiences i have ever had! They are the model for customer service and making you feel like family. Chris Senior made the process effortless, insuring we were informed of every detail while the entire staff of Raceway including Mark, Lisa, and AJ insured all went forward according to plan with no hiccups. After a disappointing experience at another Ford dealership nearby, I did not expect the level of service I received.......you can feel the difference when you walk in the door. We did not get any pressured sales tactics or condescending attitudes, but instead received a laser focus on customer service and satisfaction that is not the norm in any industry. They have earned my business and loyalty, and I highly recommend anyone looking for a new car to visit them!

Easiest and best car purchase ever

onBuying a new car from a dealership is something I always absolutely dread. I hate dealing with salesmen who are always asking personal questions trying to size you up. I hate dealing with finance people who always have something to sell you and look at you like you're an idot when you say no (alarms, lojack, extra insurance, extended warranties, etc). Its all very, very tiring to me because by the time I walk onto a dealer lot, I know exactly what I want, I know exactly what I should pay, and I don't want to play the games that a typical dealership plays. So I was skeptical once again when it came time to purchase a new F350 which I needed to order to get exactly the way I wanted it. I contacted Raceway Ford via email to get a quote and Jacob responded back with all the information I requested. I had contacted other dealers and they either gave incomplete information or insisted on calling me which I wasn't interested in...I wanted to do as much as possible via email. I had many, many questions before ordering and Jacob was patient and very quick to respond each and every time with exactly the information I had requested. I was very impressed (and I'm hard to impress). Got the truck ordered and then needed to change an item due to a misunderstanding that I had (my fault). Jacob again was patient and extremely helpful in figuring out what we needed to do and was always just a quick email away anytime I had a question or wanted an update. When the truck came in, it was perfect, largely due to Jacob's persistence and follow-through. Took the family in to look it over and test drive it and then did the paperwork. We used the Costco auto program so the price was already set and was lower than anything I could have negotiated (and lower than all the sites I researched such as truecar.com, kbb.com, and edmunds.com). They had a play area in the showroom, so the kids played while my wife and I took turns signing paperwork (sitting in comfy chairs by the play area). They even had popcorn for the kids. When it was time to go to the finance department, we were in a small room, but thankfully this didn't take long. The finance guy tried to sell us GAP insurance and an extended warranty, but he wasn't overly pushy or annoying about it. All in all, it was a terrific experience and I would do it all again in a heartbeat. The combination of Jacob being an outstanding salesperson and using the Costco auto program made this purchase very unlike any I've had in the past. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone to visit Raceway Ford and ask for Jacob. He's the best!

onOut of the twelve dealers I contacted over email for an initial Out The Door bid, only five responded within a day or two. RaceWay Ford was the first to respond. Out of the five I considered for my final purchase, RaceWay Ford adjusted their bid to beat out the competition. The price we agreed to was the price I paid. No bait and switch, no gimmicks, no add-ons and no pressure. I liked that they understood I was an informed serious buyer. Thank you Mike Correra (Sales Director) and thank you Chris Ancona (Internet Sales Manager); you guys are an asset to RaceWay Ford!

BUYER BEWARE AT RACEWAY FORD

onBuyer beware at Raceway Ford! I'd think twice before coming to Raceway Ford to buy a car and even then I'd triple check all the facts before signing anything. Ismael was helpful in helping us find a car we wanted, but when we got inside we were told the deals advertised on the vehicle were not valid on this particular car. Which begs the question as to why these deals were painted on the car's windshield to begin with. Furthermore, despite clearly being a used car (it's plates having expired last month), the sales managers (Mike Correra and Kamal Nahhas) kept pointing to the car's msrp as a new car, completely disregarding the fact that the car was indeed used. They insisted that they were losing money on this used car at this new car pricing. I will not be going there to purchase and I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anybody either unless you enjoy being lied to and wasting time.

onWhen I went online to research pricing for our new car I had no idea I would become Americas Most Wanted Customer and be called by so many car dealers!! After hanging up on quite a few, Brian from Raceway Ford was a refreshing and professional breath of fresh air! He was extremely polite AND patient as we changed our minds a few times on color and equipment and in the end made it so easy for us to buy our new Fusion that I will be telling EVERYONE I know that he is THE mad to see for a Ford! Thank you very much Brian, I will be back this summer for that new F-150 also!

Man Handled By Raceway Ford Riverside Employee... Scary Place

onIt has taken me quite some time to write this review about RRF because sometimes you just want to let things go but I was reminded of this situation just last night when I saw the person that assaulted in at the gas station. It was in April 2014 that I had my experience at this place of business. It was in April of this year that I decided to go to this place to see about purchasing a new car. The process of getting the car itself was okay keeping in mind that my credit was pretty bad so in that respect the dealer was able to get me financed for a new ford focus with an APR of 27.07%. So long story short the purchase of the car did not turn out three days after having the car the dealer came to my home and took the car back C'est la vie. According to them they were having trouble verifying my employment. So at this point the dealer has the car and Im going in to see why they could not verify my employment. I came into contact with an employee named AJ Huxhold who was off top was very aggressive and stand-offish. Bottom line is this man grabbed my arm and hands and squeezed both until finally my son had to make him let me go, everyone else in this establishment was just standing there watching watching as Im yelling at this man to let me go. I filed a police report the same night regarding the incident. After several hours the pain and swelling in my arm and hand went down and then went away. Therefore I did not seek medical help but I did feel that RRF was liable to me for not providing me with a safe environment as a customer of their establishment so I did file send a letter for request of payment to their lawyer. When I saw this man again, AJ Huxhold, at the gas station the hurt the fear the pain became very real all over again so thats why I decided to go ahead and tell you my story and hopefully no one will experience what I did. The fact that no one working in that car dealer that day, absolutely no one saw this man grab me and not let go till he was forced to by my son REALLY RACEWAY FORD GOD DONT LIKE UGLY OR LIARS. My issue is not with the car, not with the fact that I wasnt able to retain the car there are so many other vehicles out there. My issue is that this employee AJ Huxhold, man handled me in this place of business where there were plenty of witness, and with the ethics, the humanity of this company and how they treat their customers and the fact that no one cared to tell the truth about what really happened and about what this person did to me. You dont put your hands on people especially customers in a place of business where you are the employee and no one CARES. Seeing him put that fire back inside of me regarding this place and the people they employee and the that fact that places like this think just because they have lawyers that they can just bully people and treat them like they dont matter I do matter Raceway Ford so thats why I decided to finally write this review and lets keep in mind never got any type of apology. Perhaps bring a body guard if you're thinking about shopping at this place. :(

onThe only person there I feel thats worth talking to is James Burgess, the salesman Derrick was ok but his lack of employee empowerment greatly reflected on the the companies lack of trust and credibility of their salesmen and women. The finance guy i dealt with Angel, I can say im glad i will never see him again in my life because somehow or another he slipped in a 1095 dollar option in my contract that I was told nothing about, which translated to me not getting my car when promised. FURTHERMORE, Angel promised me that he would have a peice of mail out that was vital to getting me my car on time and because of his actions I still am with out a car and just a approval from the bank. I would also like to note that starring out the window at the Derricks desk on Saturday for hours on end waiting for ANGEL to get the contract in order was less than delightful. The part about all of this that bothered me the most is that when i told Derrick (my salesmen) i was hungry and wanted to go across the street to get some food his response " oh these guys don't like anyone to leave unless we have signatures." so in other words no i would appreciate it if you sat here in hunger until we get some money from you. Luckily James (sales Manager) told him to take me in the back 30 min later and give me some of their employee food.
