Check engine light

I went to this place to get my truck fixed, it had the engine light on, they couldn't fix it, but they charge me $1,150 for nothing, the light still on, and the manager there has no respect for people, he even said "your truck it's fixed with theblogjt on, what did they fix?? Nothing People like the manager there shouldn't be working with people

WORST

Stuff was friendly but they don't know what they are doing at all. Mixed up my registration and expect me fix the problem. Those friendly stuff gone when we start having a problems.

One of the WORST dealer ever.

This is the one of the worst experience ever. These people are the worst sellers ever. They do not know their job, they lie all the time. Not respect their customer. I had a mistake and bought a car from them but NEVER AGAIN!!!. Be careful guys these sales people and this dealership is kind of SCAM.

Lied

I wouldn't recommend purchasing a vehicle at Merced Chevrolet. I purchased a vehicle that they advertised as having a navigation system in it. When I took it a test drive I wanted to confirm that it had a navigation system in it JR the sales rep said that it did. so I purchased the vehicle trusting that it had everything that was on the online description. when I got home I realized that it didn't have the navigation system in the vehicle the next day I text JR letting him know that the suv didn't have it. Along with the text, I sent him screen shots where it states that it comes with it. He pretty much said that if I wanted navigation I would need to get it thru onstar. That was his solution to the problem. I guess since they already got my money they don't care about the customer. He didn't even say sorry for the misunderstanding or anything. I would not purchase a vehicle with them.

Coupons

Pleasant experience as always. They are realistic when giving you estimated completed time of your vehicle service. I brought a coupon for the first time and Mr.Cowie took notice and flipped through the coupons to find me the best deal. As a matter of fact he was able to find an additional coupon on his end that I did not have on me physically. He was able to discount my services for more than originally quoted which was a pleasant surprise. My suggestion would to train all your associates to adapt Mr.Cowies kindness and consideration in regards to coupons. I feel like this is something that should be done for customers who have registered accounts with your facility and have continuously brought their vehicle to be serviced at your establishment. This was the first time anyone recommended a better coupon or even mentioned coupons at all. Normally I never get told about coupons, let alone have someone look for a better coupon for me.

RUDE!!!

Literally the rudest people I've ever spoken with. Wanting to purchase from out of state. Offered to wire them the FULL AMOUNT of the vehicle, or send in a friend who lives in the area with THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE VEHICLE, to secure the car until I could fly down (in the next few days). Wouldn't accept it. Filled out a credit app so they could maybe take a loan instead... wouldn't do it. Basically I'd have to book a ticket and HOPE it would still be there when I arrived. The manager was completely unwilling to work with me, and wasn't even polite... he was so painful to speak with. Told me he'd rather give the sales people a chance to make their commission and sell a car (WHICH I WAS WILLING TO DO... TODAY). Like... I'm offering you the full asking price, in cash, TODAY, and you won't take my money?? Wow.

First and last purchase

I had a GM survey from the salesman before I had the keys to my car. Your dealership tried switching numbers during financing. "Rate me high so I don't get in trouble" from a salesman. I can wait for a survey from GM. The car has damage, dos before delivery, and the salesman rushed me out after having someone attempt to wipe it away. Took delivery outside on a cold foggy day, could've just as well pulled the car inside under some lights so I could actually inspect it. My wife wants to buy a camaro next. I guarantee I'll look at a different dealer, if not a different manufacture.

Off to a rocky start

First, after using your site, we called and made an appointment to see the Spark with one of the salesmen for the next day. We made one for 9:30 in the morning. We got there and walked around and finally settled in the showroom. A salesman was unlocking cars and came into see if he could help us. His answer shocked me. The salesman we had made an appointment the day before, it was his day off. Lamont offered to help us, so we told him to finish his duty and we would wait and asked how to find the Spark. He told us and came down. He did not high pressure and apologized for the no show and he said that it was the no shows day off. Kinda got irate, but kept out mouth shut.! They have birds that roost at night on the high lines and ever car was covered with bird poop, no painted with bird poop. A problem that needs to be fixed. Lamonte did not try to upgrade us with pressure. He pointed out the cars that fell into the category that we were looking at and we asks to see them, which he did. My wife has a hip replacement and it is hard for her to get in and out of cars.... he listened and pointed out the cars that had easy excess for that reason. Anyway, he offered us a demo drive if we wanted one. We did, the car we chose, so we got to ride to the gas station as a bonus... no walking after the fact. Anyway, we had a nice drive, freeway, side streets and rough streets. He was very pleasant the whole time. We had left out pickup for them to look at and make an offer. When we got back Lamonte went and got the offer from the office. After all the little things on the Spark was pointed out to us, we decided that this would be the car we wanted. Previously the Mazda and Toyota dealer insisted that we needed a bigger car and would not get off the subject. Terrible pressure. Could not believe the pressure from the salesperson. The trip was good for us. We told Lamonte that our PU had to be repaired with a major flaw and would not make a decision until after it had been repaired. It took a week to fix it and now it is in great shape. The Chevy dealer made a good offer on the pickup. We know it is not a big purchase and a small purchase for the dealer and Lamonte. Truthfully, Congress and their actions has us worried, and we have decided to wait until May to purchased or until Congress starts governing. Weather this is political or not, it is just a fact. It is the number one reason for our decision not to buy. Dond't know about the service end of the dealership, but Lamonte saved the day and we will buy from him!

this dealership is seriously lacking! Beware!

We bought a car last month and though we are happy with our car, but we ARE NOT HAPPY about how shady this dealership has been about paying off our trade in. We are coming up on almost a month since we handed over our car for a trade in. They have not paid off the remaining loan as was promised in our contract. They were quick to cash our pre-approved loan check from our bank (within a week), but can't seem to function properly when it comes to owning up to their side of the contract. We have been calling and calling but we get the run around and then told we will be called back... and surprise, surprise.... NO ONE calls back. It's very disappointing that a dealership would behave like this. I would not recommend this dealership because either they do not have the money to pay off our trade-in or they are just simply lazy. The BBB has been contacted and a complaint filed. We are about to seek legal representation because we do not want to be stuck with this bill, if the dealership tries to pull the old bankruptcy scam. Oh, by the way, if you recently bought a 2005 Infiniti G35 from this dealership (our trade-in), the title still has a lien on it and you will not be able to register the vehicle until Merced Chevrolet fulfills its contractual obligations.
