Disappointed

This dealership is not honest in their advertisements on line and pushes people into outrageous purchases. There is a posted 2015 Rogue that is not even available. We called on it and were told it would be there and once we arrived we were told it was sold. This was several days ago and it is still on the website today. Also, we feel we were taken advantage of by the staff and pushed into a new expensive vehicle even after they knew that we are seniors and that I have Parkinson’s. We were pushed into a $42,000 vehicle when we went looking for a used vehicle. We will never recommend this dealership nor return even if we could. We also spoke with the finance office after purchase and were told they would call us that day. No one had returned our call even after we’ve left voice mail messages.

I can't say enough how pleased I am with my car buying experience at Pedder Nissan and especially with my salesman Gunther Murphy. From the moment we parked everyone we encountered was smiling, helpful and friendly. Gunther took the time to explain the complexities of the different options and helped determine what the best option was for me. He was upfront, helpful and took time to go over certain aspects several times when I didn't get it the first time. Never did I feel pressured or feel like my questions were an inconvenience. I highly recommend this dealership and this salesman!

Good guys but watch the numbers

Just bought a top of the line Quest LE. Inventory is scarce had to go 80 miles from home to find what I wanted. I have special pricing through USAA that make this a good buy. Negotiating the trade is always the tough part. Got that squared away finally pretty fair. The problem started when they tried to increase the agreed upon price by $1600 when they produced the contract number breakdown. The explanation was for a dealer installed alarm system and tires filled with nitrous. I have bought many cars in my life and always talk price to include everything except taxes, dmv fees and doc fee. Never have I been ambushed by some expensive extras not mentioned in the agreed upon price. After we resisted they reduced that $1600 to about $800 then $300 then when we were going to walk they backed down and sold it to us for the agreed upon price. This was no misunderstanding it was an attempt to make a little more after we had agreed on both the trade and new purchase price. I really think my sales guys I dealt with Pablo and Oscar were honest hard working people that did not originate this. I blame the young possible, probably just in over his head maybe new to the job sales manager that tried to add this to the deal. . I just want to refer to him as seeming inexperienced and lacking people skills After we denied him that extra profit he slithered away and never showed his face again to shake my hand thank me for the business nothing you would expect. It all ended well because we were not going to be taken advantage of. I would recommend either Oscar or Pablo they put up with me pushing them for a better price for our trade listened to me and made it happen. I would also compliment the finance guy OZ. We had our loan portion set up in advance through USAA but this guy was efficient and organized. He still has to do all the dmv and other paperwork even if he does not do your financing. He never asked us to finance through Nissan which is surprising we have very high credit scores and would be easy. Never really fun going through this car buying process . It is exciting to get a vehicle that makes you happy for the price that is fair and we did. They could have done a better job cleaning our brand new vehicle.
