Great experience

by Excited9856 on 12/25/2015

I bought a Platinum F 150. It's the most fantastic vehicle I've ever driven. The people at Colley Ford were amazingly helpful and I felt like family. They seemed happy for me and I would definitely buy there again.

Best car buying experience ever

by Trojanboss on 10/07/2015

My wife and i had an appointment to look at and test drive the new Ford Edge. I hate the whole car buying experience and dreaded even setting foot on the dealership. The plan was to look, test drive and get out before the sales rep had any chance to hard sell me a new car. Boy was i wrong. This was by far the BEST car buying experience i ever had. From the time we walked through the doorwe felt relaxed, no pushy sales people, no hatd sell, just a really nice, helpful staff that made us feel comfortable the entire time. We ended up with the car WE wanted at the price and payments we were comfortable with. We will definitely recommend Colley to all our friends and family who are looking to buy a new car.

Great dealership!

by shorty7764 on 08/31/2015

The best experience i have ever had at a dealership! I have owned 4 previous Ford cars. Ismeal Gonzales was my salesperson and went above and beyond to help me. Was very satisfied with the deal I had on a certified preowned 2014 fiesta. I had no way to pick up my car - so The dealership sent someone to pick me up and it took 2 hours or more each way! Very impressed with how i was treated. Not a pushy atmospher - no pressure! Kimberly followed up and took care of some questions I had. Very classy dealership! This is how a dealership should do buisness. Wish i lived closer for service - will stil consider going out their for certain service.

CUSTOM-ER SERVICE!

by haimowned on 02/05/2014

CUSTOM-ER SERVICE! [ If you want a car your way, and at the right price - Cory and Tony in Internet Sales - hands down!] Read on, for the epic, and a bit long, story :) Few months ago, I discovered the existence of the Ford Fiesta ST. A tiny, hot hatch, with a spark up its arse. I test drove one such hatch at Colley, as well as the Focus ST, because the salesperson insisted :) I liked the approach of the staff, so I kept Colley in mind. I'd played with the idea of buying, but only after a couple months of contemplation, did I pull the trigger. Now when I finally dedicated to the Fiesta, I decided I wouldn't settle for anything less than EXACTLY what I wanted. And that was - White exterior, cloth interior [cuz the Recaros are a little snug for a guy my size], and the smoke painted premium wheel package, with red brake calipers. It turns out that this such build is friggin impossible to find - one in all of Cali, and it was a day's drive north. Ouch. I originally visited Buerge Ford, in Santa Monica, trying for a Recaro bearing, white Fiesta, since cloth was nill. I asked if they'd at least dealer trade for one with the dark rims, and was met with a flatout NO. Gross. I also placed a call to Colley, and was transferred to their internet sales, where Tony tried to track the perfect Fiesta - way up north. Unfortunately, though Tony, and dept manager Cory were able to lock it down, and arrange for its delivery, the up-north dealer had slapped so much crap on the thing, that the sticker had rocketed to $31k. During this time, I was awaiting financing conformation from an outside bank, so while Tony and Cory tried to affirm the delivery, I awaited a check, and explored other, more affordable options. Nothing in its class remotely touched the Fiesta ST. And after visiting a couple other dealerships, with runaround customer service, I was almost ready to call it quits on the new car. The next day, Cory called me back, and urged me to come in, insisting he'd get MY car, the way I wanted it, and at the price I desired. Heard that before...but I was in the area, and went in anyhow. Upon arrival, Tony and Cory beckoned me to the office, where Cory told me about the car up north being ready to go on my command. But, with a huge price hike, and immovable dealer options, we couldn't get it to the price I wanted. In one last effort, I asked if they could just find me cloth seats, with silver rims, and switch them for dark ones - a prospect which every other Ford dealer scoffed at. What happened next, blew my mind. Cory one upped me, and suggested I buy the car, silver rims, and they'd have them powder coated ANY COLOR I WANTED, and roll the cost into the car. WHAT?! SHUT UP! He didn't stop there. The car they dealer traded, had a sunroof, and Sony premium sound system, and even with that package, the Lojack, etching, and powder coating, they got me out the door for nine dollars less than my ideal price. Shut your face, right the ef now! Yes that happened! That night, they took my trade in, which they'd over valued, to bring the cost of the Fiesta down [thanks guys], and gave me a loaner [another Fiesta, to get used to], until my car was delivered. Two days later, I drove it off the lot, and [non-permissible content removed] am I happy with the thing. Today, I brought it back to the service dept. They had to finalize the financing before sending the rims out for powder coat - understandable. I had originally thought I'd only have the option of black or dark gray on the rims, but upon talking to Jim in service, was able to directly contact the outsourced powder coater, and request a specific color [dark bronze], and even shoot him a picture for color match. I get my beautiful white, bronze shoe-wearing baby back in four days. AND they gave me another loaner, a nicely appointed Ford Fusion, until the car is ready. To sum it up - Off the lot, I'm going to have a one of a kind, dealer custom - tailored directly by me! If you want a car your way, and at the price you want, talk to Tony and Cory in internet sales. They will make sure you drive home happy! ...just don't come asking for a white Fiesta ST with bronze wheels!!!

Car Buying expereince

by cepek4 on 12/05/2007

I had recently bought a used 2004 Buick Regal in November 0f 2007. When I first tried to start the car it would not start thinking it was a security issue I had to figure out. Jim Carpenter reached over and gave me a hand and started the car. I should have thought to ask about it but was too much in a hurry to buy and go home being I had spent 2 weeks looking for a vehicle. So during the purchase which took about 45 minutes to an hour they sent someone to put a 1/4 more gas in the tank but after we were done we had to wait another 20 minutes till the car returned. It would seem the same problem happened to that individual but I cant be sure. Now even the sales people who show the car nor their service department did not noticed the problem. Its only when I bring it home and try to start it it wont start. Now the car does start but intermittingly. 1 day it will start continually and the other it wont at all so you cant drive it even though you pay for the vehicle and are paying insurance on it. It looks pretty sitting in the driveway. When I mentioned the issue to Mr. Carpenter he said I could bring the car back and they would take a look at it. I said no because being there is no warranty on it after signing "as is" you will charge me when you find the problem----there was silence on the other end of the phone..... Now if they are inspecting the cars before they are trading in, it could be that this one slipped in unaware by their service department or they figured it out after wards. In any case the problem is "known" and they left it at the purchasers discression. Hmmm... Well this teaches me not to be in a hurry when car buying and dont think the dealer is looking out for you either because they are not. There will be a sequel to this story after I find out how much I have to pay for the problem. Oh may I add being I made the decission to purchase the car for and with my dads money who is in his 70's and could have done better or worse who didnt want to go through what I did, lol, I have aquired some ranting about my decission. Wow does that load heavy on my back as many of you how that is---not fun. I am not big on buying American any way but I decided yo give them another chance. I wonder how many chances does it take to make it right?? The Car buying Experience Well after making the decission to purchase the car, I had asked them about my dad who had his drivers license taken away if the car can be put in his name and Tony the sales guy (I talked to Jim on a Friday and he said he would be there on a Sunday but he wasnt) said we will work something out so what they did was have me fill out the paper work which I thought was my portion of just being added on as second owner but turned out to be a credit application and credit check in my name. Now the frontal approach is the most reasonable way to handle business but this was not the case. So he took the contract to Dale the sales manager and we waited for about 15-20 minutes. Now mind you they havent even given me the final price on the car so I became a little upset and asked why all this papper work was being done without a final price. Then somewhere down the line they just told me I was the one that had to purchase the care after the credit check was made. Mind you my dad is paying cash and I have but a mynoot amount of money in the bank. Now I understand perfectly that this would have been the way to do it because my dad did not have his license at the time but it was the way they handled it that made it ---coy----. Final transaction Well this is the only part of the sales experience that made any sense. Yohann was very detailed in laying out all the particulars in layman terms and made some suggestions that we were able to decide on our own to make. This guy was a true professional and cared about the welfare of the purchaser even after the sale was made. We arrived at 2:30PM and left at 5:00pm. That includes Test drive. The car runs fine---when it starts.
