King our salesperson was fantastic to work with! Very kind & helpful without any pressure. Great follow-up even after we purchased our vehicle. Clint was also very kind when assisting us with our Costco discount. Great dealership, excellent prices, helpful team on staff ~ Thank You!

Service center - no star but had to proved one

by Ttttttt on 02/14/2023

The service tech did not rotate the tires as they were supposed too. Sitting and waiting for an oil change for two hours when my appointment was for 8am. Sitting there I had to listen to 4 other customers complain about their services as well. I will not return to this service center. Will be taking my car else where.

Customer service is very ordinary

by Ravi Gill on 02/05/2023

When I scheduled my car service, they agreed to provide shuttle service. But on day of service they declined shuttle service and that cost me 40 dollars in Uber service. And they even don’t apologize or give you any discount for their mess.

Bait and Switch Masters

by jfarina on 10/16/2017

The sales service was great while trying to sell us a very expensive pick up; however, that came to a grinding halt when it came time to deliver on all the promises made. The only truck on their lot was black with a black interior. We asked for a white with tan interior and were assured one was available and would be secured for us, within a week. The evening before we were to take delivery I called to make sure the truck was in, and was assured it was there, but may not be ready until after our 9:00 AM pick up appointment. Imagine our surprise when we found out the truck was not there and had in fact been sold out from under us. After a lot of compromises and dealing we ended up settling for the black truck that was on their lot. Settling and $78,000 should not be used in the same sentence! To add insult to injury we arranged for Elk Grove GMC to sell our Dodge Ram to a coworker. They were just informed that Elk Grove GMC sold the truck out from under them...less than 48 hours from the time we turned the truck in. Not likely we will deal with the sales department again!

Took my 2014 Enclave in for its oil change. Service was quick and I love that they washed my car.

GMC Ripping Off Customers

by GrayDawg on 02/03/2016

GM (and probably some other auto makers) are making vehicles that no one else will attempt to work on so it has to be taken to a GM dealership (even to change a head light bulb). Then, (understandably) the dealership will not honor a warranty for any parts (head light bulb) taken to them to install, so we consumers have to pay more than double the cost the dealership wants for the same part -(I paid over $183 for EACH of 2 head light bulbs that I could have purchased at a local auto parts for $85). That's outrageous and something needs to be done to protect consumers from this type of rip off.

Very easy to deal with

by missylizard on 03/24/2015

Did most of the work via email. When I came in George was very accommodating. The vehicle was exactly what we talked about as were the numbers. The easiest car purchase I have ever had

Two Days Ago this Review would have been Praises!

by ecacadia on 07/06/2013

Our Acadia is 61/2 months old; the first oil change we were told GMC also had issued a recall that needed to be addressed; Water Pump Shaft Seal Leaks so the dealership also preformed this check. A few weeks later we realized the rattling noise was due to the panel covering the radiator was not attached. So my husband returned to the service center and that was fixed. With our mileage just shy of 14,000 miles we took the vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation and for them to check the engine’s coolant level. We were informed checking the engine’s coolant level was not necessary; however we were due for a fuel injector cleaning. $240.00 later we now have a vehicle with an engine light on and a transmission that lurches with every shift change. How can you allow a service center to take a vehicle we absolutely love and make it seem like a lemon? My husband and I have read our vehicle manual from cover to cover and fuel injector cleaning at 15,000 miles is not mentioned! Onstar informs us the fuel injectors are not set to factory standards. You would think a dealer service center would have the ability to set the injectors at the proper standard.

used and abused

by sirwes on 08/16/2007

I did my research on luxury cars and i wanted to buy a buick lucerne when i arrived at elk grove buick they only had 2 or 3 lucernes on the lot i had already did a build your own buick online they said they couldnt get the car i wanted in time for the sale so they did a car locater and found one close to what i wanted it was a dealer demo but that they said was NEW it had a little over 5k miles on it , no moonroof but they said " they could put one in no problem " that was a really bad decision on my part. they sent it out to be installed when i got it back needless to say i was totally dissatisfied 100 % the molding was way to thick and looked terrible their responce was " you didnt think we were going to do a factory moonroof did you? " i replied yes. not only did it look bad it cost $ 350 more than the one from the factory . there were some scratches and dings here and there when i went to have them fixed i was then told that my car was not a new car and that it was a used car but during the buying process i was told over and over that it was a new car . i recieved no price cut for it being a dealer demo cause they said it was a new car. they did fix some of the scratches but not all of them. when i complained i was passed from person to person with no satisfaction only more disappointment and fustration. you have heard about the sleazy car salesman who would lie and say any thing to make a sale usually its the small used car lot but i do believe that my experence of buyiny a luxury car form elk grove buick was way to close ( inches ) from that small car lot . I even tried to trade it in to get the NEW car that i wanted then i was told my 2 month old car was only worth 26 or 27k still owing 36k . after all of that there is no way i would EVER buy or recommend buying a car from elk grove buick. since i got my car the sales man who sold me the car ,the sales manager who lied about aspects of the car , the finance person who did the paperwork , and the service manager who promised things but didnt deliver have all quit, been fired or just dont work there any more to me that is just strange dont you think... to top it all off elk grove buick has a slogan which is " we do business a little differently " I guess so most car lots treat their custmers right.I bought a car form senator hundai and had a 100 % better experance and that car was new and under $ 6k so i guess its not how much you spend its where you spend it. sorry but the truth is the truth and it hurts
