Excellent Experience!!!

by john2204 on 11/19/2016

I purchase my BMW with Private Collection Motors. I am located in the mid west, so calling from thousands of miles away i was a bit hesitate to purchase. That all changed once i called PCM, they were very helpful. I was working with Ashley, she was awesome , being miles away, and being really picky, She made me feel so comfortable, she sent me pictures of anything i needed to know about my BMW. I know these are used cars and didn't expect perfect. But still wanted honest description of the car. Sure enough, when i received the vehicle, i went over the car with a fine comb. As expected, it was EXACTLY as described!!! I am extremely please with my purchase!! i will recommend all my family and friends to PCM. Thanks guys again Respectfully John

TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP DONT BUY HERE

by michellemm121 on 08/15/2016

Don't buy from this dealer, I bought a Porsche from them, they shipped it to me, as I live in Pennsylvania, took car off shipping truck, it really has not run correctly since I got it, they sold me a warranty, which the warranty company will cover nothing, they say all problems were pre-exsisting, engine problems, caynne has large glass roof that pours in water, plus many other issues, I think im about 10,000 in repairs and dealership only in the beginning gave 1000.00 to fix a repair in the beginning they wont do anything and believe me there are so many issues they had to know, they figured I was out of state and they could do this to me, also the lady that works in their office played games with my title, it got so bad the messenger service they used called them so many times, the messenger service told they if they didn't correct the issues it would be fraud if I could not get the title in my name!! not sure if the owner is aware of all of the games being played at this dealership but stay away!!!

1989 Mercedes 560SL

by paulblanco1 on 04/17/2016

Me and my wife had been looking for a 560sl on and off as it had been my dream car since high school. I had looked at about two dozen car over a year or so but none of them had that dream car feel. I called Private Collection Motors and inquired about a 560sl as they had several. After a few conversations over the phone we were told that they spend a decent amount of money to recondition these cars and make them a close to a dream car as possible. We took another hopeless ride to Private Collection Motors with the impression of all the cars we had already seen but to our surprise the 560sl collection was worth the drive. Each 560sl in their inventory had repair invoices from $1,500 to $5,000 of recent service they had just done. We were there for about 4 hours looking a different 560sl's we finally landed on our beautiful 1989 560sl with only 27k miles. We would like to thank the staff at private collection motors for making our purchase such a unforgettable experience.

PORSCHE 911 C4S

by porschec4s2 on 12/22/2015

EXCELLENT DEALERSHIP/ Absolutely top notch buying experience!!! I can no praise praise Kam and Private Collection Motors enough - amazing service, and most importantly great people to deal with!!! I am not the kind of guy who usually writes reviews, but these guys really do deserve the credit!!! Having bought cars in many countries as well as throughout the US, I know buying a vehicle is never easy. Finding the right car, weighing options, facing constant uncertainty about whether the vehicle is in good shape, and finally, the whole price negotiating aspect where dealers more often than not use guarded word play and slight misdirection. It can be stressful and full of disappointments, no doubt... Private Collection is NOTHING like this. Honest, professional, and courteous staff who will go above and beyond to make it a pleasant and hassle free process for the customer. I live in Atlanta and bought a Porsche C4S without even seeing the car in person!! Contacted Private Collection Motors via phone and email, and got an immediate answer from Kam. He offered for me to fly out and pick me up, however I had a busy work schedule that week and could not make it. Kam remained very responsive to all my inquiries over the next couple of days, answering my text messages literally within 10 minutes every time. He walked me around the car, gave me all the details as far as previous maintenance, and took it to a nearby Porsche specialist for a PPI. So far, more than I have ever experienced in years of buying cars, let alone, when not being able to inspect it in person. Based on this I made a realistic offer and it was a done deal - no BS salesman strategies, no games of back and forth...just simple and straight forward without pushy, nonsense arguments to why the price should be higher. Kam sent me an UPS overnight with all the paperwork to sign with a return slip. Every single paper was labelled and the parts I needed to sign were highlighted. Great stuff!!! When my bank screwed up big time the next day...and Kam did not get his money for another week - No problem either! Even took his time to go on several conference calls with myself and the bank to figure it all out... The funds finally made it there and I had to get the car back to Atlanta. Once again Kam told me not to worry about shipping and that he would organized everything for me...and while I had gotten some quotes myself, my cheapest one was 200 USD more than his. Also, most shippers will required 48hrs to pick up the car..with Kam's guy, the vehicle was up on a truck the very same day and on its way to Atlanta. WOW!! The guy keeps outdoing himself!! Car got here safe and sound in 5 days (basically 3 days before the actual date that was scheduled). Finally at home, and ready to register, I needed an additional piece of paperwork from Private Collection otherwise Georgia DMV could not title the car. Kam did another overnight and next days I had plates on the car. He texted all throughout the process and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase once I got to drive the car. Car is excellent...have not gotten to drive it much unfortunately, but took it out for a short 100 mile cross country ride. Could not be happier!! Once it is time to buy another vehicle, Private Collection Motors is definitely the first and only place I will be looking at. In this life full of little drams, Kam and his team really keep things into proportion and provide a personalized service that is unique, rare, and very special!! I would recommend them to anyone!!

Excellent Service with Excellent Prices

by dkhanator on 11/17/2015

I recently purchased a high-end luxury vehicle from this dealer and had nothing but a pleasant experience. The staff was very professional and answered all my questions thoroughly. I did a lot of research before going to get this car and I have to say that they have the most competitive prices out there. On top of that, the owner provided some great advise and worked out a good deal on extended warranty for me. If you are ever in the market for a high-end luxury vehicle, you should definitely check out Private Collection Motors first.

Costly and Negative Purchase Experience

by Loudhead on 04/27/2015

Unfortunately, what started out as a good customer service experience ended with a rude and costly lesson. I purchased a 2004 Audi S4 Avant from Private Collection Motors with 60k miles on it in April 2015. I do not live in CA and conducted the purchase via website, phone, text and email with Jordan B. Jordan was initially responsive and friendly when reviewing the condition of the car and the purchase details. The car appeared to be in mint condition - the interior and body are virtually new. Jordan confirmed the "like new" state of the vehicle. We agreed on a price and Jordan also arranged shipping as part of the deal. After receiving the car, I saw that only one set of keys had been delivered with it. I texted Jordan about it (his preferred method of communication) and didn't receive any reply. I decided to just get a new set of keys made via Audi. I had planned on having a mechanic look the car over and diagnose any issues it might have. I certainly expected there might be some things that needed attention on a ten year old vehicle. On the third day it was on the road, the car developed a violent shake and vibration. I brought it to my mechanic (an Audi and BMW specialist), and discovered that the flywheel had failed and it also needed a new clutch. It appears that this was simply bad luck and a faulty part. Nonetheless, this repair cost me $3700. There were other issues with the car that were more easily identifiable. In fact, it seems reasonable to believe that Private Collection Motors would have known about at least some of them. First, the radiator was cracked and needed to be replaced. This was an $1800 job. Also, there was an oil leak somewhere in the engine and it corrupted the belt tensioner, pulley and belt. Another $700 repair. The site of the oil leak has not yet been identified, and I expect another repair when it is found. Also, the high pressure steering fluid hose was leaking. Another $1000. The total cost of these problems was substantial - roughly $7000. This does not include less urgent, but still necessary, repairs discovered (broken control arms, motor mounts, etc.). Of course, I realize the car was sold without a warranty and that it was my responsibility to learn about any potential defects. In hindsight however, I wish we had had a more comprehensive conversation about the mechanical state of the car. Given the mint condition of the body and interior, I expected the same standard throughout the entire vehicle. Jordan was happy to let me believe that was the case. I emailed Jordan when I discovered these problems, and my emails were simply ignored. No reply. My calls have gone unanswered. PCM has many positive reviews all over the internet, and that was absolutely a factor in my choice of car seller. However, this experience has certainly left me with a strongly negative view of the purchase, and an even lower opinion of this dealership's sales strategy. CAVEAT EMPTOR! Peter C.
