Sales consultant's lie

Went this dealership with sales consultant Roland Gutirrrez's confirmation that they have a car I want to see.Upon arriving within an hour from an appointment calling,he said that car was just traded to other dealership.But I knew this is lie to sell other car they physically have.I know many dealership doing like this to fool buyers,but I believed him because they are showing the car on their website and confirmed by phone calling.I was ready to sign the contract and bring a new car home,but they lost the chance to sell it.Really upset experience!mr.Roland and Diamond Honda dealer,BE HONEST!ALWAYS!!

Awesome Buying Experience!!!

I wanna thank Jae Lee for being ultra professional throughout the entire truck buying process! As a salesman, he is very unassuming and polite which presents the customer a smooth and hassle free shopping experience. I felt no stress or anxiety whatsoever and would highly recommend Jae as your next car salesman. In addition, I want to thank finance manager Mason Dakdouk for the expedient final papers processing! He appeared very experienced , capable and also friendly. I have dealt with other finance managers before and generally they were miserable experiences to say the least. I am so happy with my Nissan Titan truck. Thank you guys!!!!

Jimmy went of the way to get the car I wanted

Jimmy went of his way to get the car I wanted and in the time I needed it. I came by the dealership to have my car appraised while I looked at Odyssey they had. He was quick with the appraisal and delivered the car and documents to me to be signed. All within 48 hours. Great service by Jimmy.

Great experience with Jimmy Tang

What makes a great salesman? I'm not sure but if you ask me I'd probably say that a trait that is good to have is intuition. I recently purchased a 2016 Honda Pilot and I was so torn between color that I forgot to mention that I needed navigation. I signed away and when I was about to leave he asked me out of the blue why I didn't choose one with navigation. Navigation?! He fell silent by the look on my face. Long story short, I was able to resign and change the car in time to one with navigation. I finally pulled into my driveway that night after an hour or so on the freeway. My thoughts were gathered. I got a great price on warranty, gap and maintenence. I'm at peace knowing this will car will last me the next ten years, at least. Thanks to Diamond Honda and Jimmy for pulling out all the stops. I love my car. Wash, rinse, repeat and see you again! Returning customer, Edith G.

Awful experience!!!

I would give them a minus 2 starts if I could. I just purchased an used car from them, and I was ASSURED that everything worked great, they told me that they did a throughout inspection and the car was in PERFECT condition, well, I drove the car 2 days and everything started failing, the AC doesn't work anymore, the battery died (after ONLY 2 days) in fact, the mechanic who replaced my battery indicated that the car was running on leftover voltage in the system, I was basically sold a car with no battery. But that's not the worse part of it, I HAVE a 30 days warranty and they are now refusing to pay for my battery (battery that is covered under the warranty!!!) unbelievable!!! they are giving me the run around, the salesman keep passing the buck to the service manager, who passes it to the location manager and so on... on one has the decency to get back to me. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE...

Worst dealer ever

This is the worst dealer ever!!! They cheated me to their place saying that they can beat our current offer at other dealer. We are waiting at their place for another 2 hours knowing that they cannot come up with any good offer. You will have to be very careful with them since what they promise to you over the phone is not valid at all. I will just try another reliable seller

DIAMOND HONDA INTERNET DEPT FOR THE WIN!

I had gone to a few dealerships before purchasing my 2016 Honda Civic at Diamond Honda. I got very close to purchasing from Galpin Honda before I was horribly mistreated. I had almost given up on buying a new car altogether until I got an email from Jimmy Tang saying he would honor the deal Galpin had originally promised. Not only was he honor the deal (it was incredible), but when financing was making us wait longer than expected he bought my dad and me In-N-Out. I could not have asked for a better experience. Talk to Jimmy Tang from the Internet Department, he is the BEST.

Great Experience Purchasing First Car

I came to the dealership to look at a used car. Long story short, I ended up test driving a new Honda Fit for fun. As a first time car buyer, it was important that I was able to come to the decision to purchase a car on my own, without someone hyping everything up, especially since I came in expecting to look at a car and leave. There was no pressure to finalize anything, even as we were running numbers to see if a brand new car was something I could afford. Jimmy Tang (Internet Sales dept.) was patient and informative throughout the entire process. Once the decision was made on my part, the rest of the process only took about 45 min and I was able to leave with my new car! I am thrilled. A huge thank you to everyone at Diamond Honda!

Great first car buying experience

The service at Diamond Honda of Puente Hills was pretty awesome. Particularly, I would like to thank Jeff Lee (sales person) He was quick on response over mails. The price offered was the least if you compare it to the KBB value . I had been to 3-4 dealers in Socal and all of them were giving e exorbitantly high APR as this was first car. But this dealer gave me 1% APR which was 1/4th of what others offered. I don't know how, but that's what I got.

I Love My New Car

I recently purchased a new 2015 Honda accord and had a great experience. Talking about customer service......WOW!!! Jerry Ng was pleasant to work with, he went above and beyond. He was very accommodating and patient. He gave us a great deal compared to the other dealership we went to. Oh, not to mention, I also got a free lifetime powertrain warranty. I will definitely be telling my friends and family to see him if they looking for a Honda. Thanks again Jerry!!!

Worse experience ever!!!!beware do not come here!!!! Customer service was the worse I have ever witnessed when coming to look for a car to buy!sales people here are uneducated and will not work with you!they are also very rude and if you don't agree with their offers they pretty much ask you to leave!BEWARE!!!! We had the best experience buying my new car. We negotiated price over e-mails and came in and took a test drive and 45 minutes later we where driving away in my new car, washed and full of gas. Eric and Doug are the best!!!

two thumbs up! Quick 2the point- best ever!!

I was at the rock honda they gave me quote but kept on playing games-- from that dealership I called spoke with the internet manager Jerry N. Within two minutes over the phone we reached an agreement. I requested him to wash the vehicle. By the time we got there was about 7ish.... vehicle was being washed as he promised. He didn't play games.....sweet and simple. We did the paperwork within 30 to 45 minutes I was out!!!!! Please note: vehicle was spotless, phone pairing and everything was done perfectly. I thank You very much for making it painless. Before we left their managers Darin and Mazen stopped by to Congratulate us. Keep up the good work, you guys ROCK!!!!

2012 CR-V LX

I’d like first to thank Edmunds.com especially the Inside Line (“Inside Line is that source”) for providing the “source” where people can do their research and review before and after purchase of cars. I have been lurking this “source” for years and have finally decided to become a member so that I could share my experiences of purchasing cars from this dealership and it’s Internet Director Jerry Ng. A little over 4 years ago I was looking for a car to replace my wife’s Toyota Camry and I decided to buy a Honda Accord. I got several internet quotes and Jerry’s was one of them. His quote was very competitive. When I stopped by to test drive the Accord, Jerry was very friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, helpful and not pushy. I had a great experience with Jerry and bought the Accord subsequent to the test drive. Recently, I was looking for a SUV to replace my 1998 Toyota 4Runner and since the gas prices have been going up, I decided to buy a CUV instead. I looked at the Toyota RAV4 (dated model), Mazda CX-5 (new model) and the new 2012 Honda CR-V. When I decided to buy the new CR-V LX Model, I did not try to get any internet quotes but went straight to see Jerry. I had to wait a few weeks for the LX model which was in scarce supply. I bought the LX Model last Monday (3/19/12) from Jerry and I was surprised he gave me a very good deal better than I expected. I sold my 4Runner to a private party as suggested by Jerry and got a lot more than one big chain-dealer couple of years ago appraised value. If you are looking for a Honda car, I highly recommend that you contact Jerry before you make your final decision.

Worst Dealership experience ever.

This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I work for a major car company, and I have to work with dealerships, and Diamond Honda of Puente Hills is the worst group of people to sell anything. Nothing wrong with my Honda Pilot which I unfortunately purchased from them, but after they already made their money from you, you are garbage to them. I had to actually deal with these [non-permissible content removed] for financial reasons and they are a complete joke. Honda people [non-permissible content removed].

pleasant interaction with Internet sales- Ng, but watch for prices

I had a reasonably pleasant experience, without high pressure tactics from the dealer, but make sure you are firm with your trade-in values and new car prices. Got suckered into a low trade-in allowance. Got an ultra low trade in allowance as compared to current KBB on my 2009 Odyssey, and overpaid for new 2012 Odyssey on top of it. Be ready to walk out when you are not satisfied with the price, or you may regret the purchase later and be unhappy about it. Do your homework and stick to your guns or you may get eaten alive.

Good Internet sales dept

Bought an Accord EX back in 2004. Very good Internet sales dept and best pricing at the time. The Internet sales guy really gave in during the negotiating process (the Accord we wanted had a lot of extra add-ons that we had to negotiate to get rid of--back then they were one of the few dealerhips that had the 04 Accord EX w/side curtain air bags--side curtain air bags weren't standard on the Accord until the '05 model)

My buying experience

I bought the s2000 car and have to go through all the hustle of the sales people. I was hustle into buying the car. They kept my keys during nagotiation, making hard for me to leave the dealer. after buying the car, I found my molded cover for the convertible was missing and the front license plate was missing. They said they will send me the stuff and never did. Plus, they took my mp3 player and cell phone charger I have forgotten after I traded in my car. So watch out when you deal with this dealership or people working in there. If you are chinese, don't speak chinese to them, you will loose your respect to them. My experience with this dealership is very bad. I would never buy a car from them again or worse, I got turn off by purchasing a Honda car because of this dealer.
