I want to HIGHLY Recommend Gold Rush Chevrolet, specifically “DJ” in Sales, Allen, Sales Manager, and Karen, Finance Manager. I just completed my first NEW Car Purchase in over 15 years and now have a brand new high end, knocked out 2017 Chevy Colorado Truck in my Little Garage. I spent several months reading Consumer Reports and other car reviews. I looked at ALL of small SUVs and Crossovers. Nothing really ‘thrilled me’ until I drove a GMC Canyon. Since the Canyon and Chevy Colorado are comparable, I looked at both. I met the Costco Sales Program person at the GMC in Roseville. No luck there. The GMC and Chevy Dealers in Folsom? No luck there either and it was an unpleasant experience too, I smiled and left after the salesperson pointed his finger at you saying “You don’t understand, you NEED to buy XXXX. Then on Saturday, I located a matching Chevy Colorado at Gold Rush Chevy online. Since I had not yet driven the Colorado (but had driven its sister the Canyon) I sent “DJ” a email through the Edmunds car contact form and let him know I wanted to compare the two. He promptly called me back and we met for the first time Monday 4/17. From meeting “DJ” for the first time, multiple test drives, breaks to accommodate my needs to slow down and ‘think about it’ for a day or two even tweaking the purchase contact at the last minute because I changed my mind - EVERYONE I mean EVERYONE was accommodating, thoughtful, professional and pleasant. I can honestly say this was the BEST NEW CAR NO PRESSURE Buying Experience of my LIFE. It was not at all what I had experienced in my local shopping. The best part? They sold me the car of my dreams at a net PRICE that beat anything comparable, and the Costco Auto Buyer and Edmunds Auto Buyer program and TRUE Car Buying Program. I’m not talking payments (though they did a great job on that too!) I am taking the real PRICE. WOW. I am taking my new truck to them on Monday to leave it for the night to have the spray on bed liner put in. And I am still debating about purchasing the extended warranty but they did not pressure me about that either – just helped me and gave me info to ponder. In closing, I feel that I chose the right dealer for the right reasons for this purchase. I will recommend these folks to my friends and family. And if their service department proves as great as their sales department, they have this business going forward too. Do yourself a HUGE Favor, take the nice drive up to Auburn and include this dealership on your ‘car’ shopping list. You will be so glad you did!
