onMy repeated experience with this dealership is as such: 1) They disregarded the problem with my vehicle twice 2) Told me the mechanic wasn't supposed to talk to me 3) Consistently had rude service from the service representative 4) Left my vehicle with them for three weeks after having mechanic ride with me and confirmed the issues, it sat and never got worked on because another mechanic looked at it and dismissed the issue. 5) Had to call Ford Customer Care to get dealership/service center on the ball 6) #5 was met with harsh/rude comments such as, "You can't be callin' Ford Customer Care when your vehicle hasn't been here for 30 days like you told them". Blatantly calling me a liar when my vehicle had in fact been there 30 calendar days. 7) Arranged for vehicle buy back with Ford Motor Company through lemon law, because the issue was not resolved in time... as well as having received terrible service from this dealership. I was then told that Smith Ford would not be allowing the buy back through their dealership, scapegoating on a technicality of not having sold the vehicle to me. TL;DR: Terrible dealership to work with service wise. Sales team might be great, however their prices as far as I can see average 2-5k above other dealerships in the area. Look elsewhere, hopefully you live close to another Ford dealer that you can service your vehicle at.

2015 F250 6.7 Low Fuel Pressure

onDid not purchase my truck from them but after using the selling dealer for the first few oil changes and taking 2-1/2+ hours just to do a simple oil change I decided to make a change. Smith Ford goes above and beyond to insure the customer is happy even if you did not purchase the vehicle from them. I have had this issue with the low pressure a couple of times and took it to them for service. Was not throwing many error codes so they made it tough to diagnose. Had to have the truck towed to them today but they worked it right in. I stopped by to discuss and the mechanic told me that the fuel filters needed to be changed. I asked him if this was the root of the problem: he said he did not believe it was. He recommended dropping the tank to see if there were any obstructions inside the tank that may be causing this issue as I had used the Motorcraft PM22A fuel treat,emit in the past and it has been documented that the cardboard disk the seals the container has been known to become free from the cap and enter the tank when adding the treatment to the fuel system. I agreed to pulling the tank and sure enough he found a cardboard disk in the tank. The disk that is normally white was brown and thoroughly soaked in diesel fuel. I have read of instances of this happening with other Super Duty Diesel owners and taking much longer to diagnose. Truck was delivered to them around noon today and I was picking it up by 4:30 thief same day. Motorcraft needs to really look in to this issue with the manufacture that bottles this product but hats off to Smith Ford for diagnosing the issue so quickly and making sure I was satisfied. Definitely earned my future business.

onTHIS IS THE PLACE TO BUY YOUR NEXT FORD!!!!! You could not ask for the best service in town. Everyone was super nice and helpful. You were not attacked by 10 salesman when you drove onto the lot. However we were met once inside the door with utmost respect from everyone. This will be the last dealership I deal with, because this is the only one I will ever deal with in the future.

onIf you need warranty work or an oil change, the service department is fine. If you're paying for a repair and don't care how much they overcharge you, they're fine. My pickup had a stripped spark plug. 3 1/2 hours of labor at $100 per hour, and $179 in parts. Seriously? If you have a problem that has to be fixed, take it somewhere else.

onIn for my 25,000 mile check up, the service took less time that I expected. I feel so comfortable knowing my car is serviced by an experienced team in a dealership that is five generations deep. Whether I'm on a road trip or carting my grandkids around town, I don't have to worry about car safety. Smith Ford takes care of that.
