Best vehicles better customer service :-)

onI've always been a BMW fan but the staff at BMW North Scottsdale won my loyalty. They are very knowledgeable and accommodating. I never felt pressured to buy a car; just educated every time I went in. Eventually one of their sales reps, Scott Bilgo, gained my business. I purchased exactly what I wanted in terms of color and price. He never tried to sway me against my wants. We waited til my vehicle was ready. I took my 328i in for service with them regularly and was always pleased with the staff and care of my car. I'll definitely purchase another vehicle from them again.

Best place to purchase a vehicle

onWe have purchased numerous cars here throughout the years and will always come back. The inventory and professionalism of the staff, especially Scott Bilgo, are outstanding.The entire process from test drive to out the door with your new vehicle is done efficiently and smoothly. I would highly recommend BMW North Scottsdale.

CPO Means Nothing

onI bought a Certified car from BMW North Scottsdale and three days later when the deodorizer wore off it became clear that it was a car that had been smoked in and not just cigarette smoke, it was pipe or cigar smoke. I brought the car back and told them I didnt want it, I was pulled off the sales floor into the back where they told me I couldnt return it and that they would fix it. Anyone who has ever ridden in a smokers car knows that it will never be fixed, the inside of the A/C and heating system is covered in smoke residue that can never be removed without completely disassembling the dash. After removing the smell didnt work the dealership pretended to help by giving me 3 options, accept a cheaper car or a car without the options I had, buy another more expensive car that had the options I had or return the car but still pay the sales tax and extended service plan (almost $4000) even though the service plan stays with the car and makes it more valuable. They covered up the smell of smoke to get the car out the door and they refuse to accept responsibility, but all I did was walk into their dealership and its going to cost me bigtime. The best way to make money is to do the right thing for your customers, but they havent learned that yet. Dont make the same mistake I did, go somewhere else.

Complete professionals all around

onI visited North Scottsdale BMW 4 times in the last few weeks, at first with trepidation because of the standing review. I walked in, unannounced, to see a car I saw on this website. Everyone I encountered was very nice and very professional. I did not buy the car I originally wanted to see, but later found almost exactly what I wanted with the help of Kevin Pederson. We love the car, have no regrets, and we are still grateful for the professionalism and patience Scottsdale BMW showed since we had my small, curious child at the dealership. I would go there again if we needed another car.

onDo yourself a favor and lease or buy somewhere else. You will be sorry if you get involved with this poorly run dealership. It does not matter what they say, they just don't care about the customer. They don't deserve your business. They will take the joy out of driving a BMW and make you wish you had a different vehicle.

Great Product and Inventory Comes with Arrogant Attitudes

onI am thrilled with my CPO BMW. The vehicle is exactly what I have been looking for and makes me smile every time I drive it. That being said I would have loved to buy it from any other dealer. In the end, I got a payment and loan terms that I am comfortable with as well as plenty of warranty and complimentary maintenance to help me sleep easier at night. The sales advisors are friendly (especially Jerry and Tod) and do not come across as pushy but rather there to assist you in your car shopping experience. It's the behind the scenes finance guys that are your enemy. If you are used to going to a car dealership and getting the impression that they want to sell you a car and are willing to work with you to make that happen, then adjust your expectations before going here. Of the 3 vehicles I considered, all of them mysteriously were already at "rock bottom we won't discount it a penny more pricing". Are you the type that likes to do your homework as much as possible before visiting the dealer? Throw all that research out the window on your way (especially the trade-in and TMV values that you find on Edmunds); you can make the most logical, well thought out negotiating points and they will be met with a simple no explanation "no". I have been to other Penske dealerships and other BMW dealerships and none of them conveyed this same attitude. If I wasn't looking for something so specific (manual transmission convertible) I would have happily gone elsewhere (This is their strong point- a large inventory of quality BMWs and CPOs). The original salesman I worked with lost the sale because of his finance manager not willing to discount below sticker- I bought it a month later from a different salesman at the price I told the previous finance manager that it should be.

2004 BMW 325 Convertible

onI had been looking for a used convertible to replace my 2000 Chrysler Sebring. i happened upon BMW in North Scottsdale, not thinking i could get a BMW. Boy was i wrong, I met Bob Atanasio who is a sales consultant there, and he showed me the pre owned BMW convertibles.................after spending time with Bob, who is a very nice, honest, and geniune person and seeing the cars I know this was where I would buy my next car, and my next car after that. i ended up with a beautiful 2004 Silver 325 BMW convertible.............and it is a wonderful car. I am sold on BMW's and this dealership. My family and I also met the gerneral manager, and Matt who are both very nice people. We will definately be back to see Bob Atanasio for our next BMW, and thank you BMW of North Scottsdale for getting me into a BMW.
