Bait and Switch

Bait and switch at its best! Beware of Clarke Smith, the self-proclaimed Superman of car sales, and Aaron Enriquez, the empty promise general manger. They're the type that give used car salesmen their bad names. First they tell me what a great deal a used out of warranty 2014 Porsche 911 is at $58,115. 5 minutes later they knocked another $1,000 off it. 5 days letter it was reduced by more than another $1,000 to $55,997. We agreed upon a sales price of $55,500 after they had been "low balled" by anyone and everyone that had any interest in the car. What with all of the price reductions you might ask? Because it needs at least $2,000 in undisclosed repairs. They suckered me into paying $340 to their sister Porsche stealership to find out all of the car's shortcomings. This was after Aaron had told me they would pay for it, but then they flip flopped the day of the inspection by telling me I was getting too good of deal for them to cover the cost. I figured that they would be willing to at least address the items that had failed the inspection. Boy was I wrong. Clarke told me they would rather sell a defective car as-is then do the right thing for their reputation and a customer, who would be buying his third car in 10 months from Penske. That's when the deal really went south. I was told I had wasted Clarke's time and that I was threatening them by writing this review. Well sometimes the truth hurts, especially when people call you out on your BS. Aaron and Clarke, you have wasted both my time and money. It'll be interesting to see if you use the report I paid for to sell the car you're so desperate to get rid of. Somehow I doubt you would be honest enough to do so. Now I'm wondering how long it's going to take to get my $1,000 deposit back after already flushing $340 down the drain to drive a car for only 15 miles on 2 test drives.

Great to work with

I've bought vehicles from Toyota, Honda, and Acura before now, and I must say that this was the best experience I've had from any dealership. I began negotiating with Todd Curry via email. He was very prompt in his responses and upfront with costs and current offers. I ended up purchasing my A6 with Greg Goodavish, with whom I would be more than happy to buy my next Audi. Everyone there is professional, courteous, and above all, personable. We brought our toddler along and nobody seemed to be bothered by him -- he was on his best behavior, for a toddler anyhow -- so I think that speaks to how kind they are. In short, you won't regret purchasing your Audi from here.

Bad all the way around

We purchased an Audi Q7 in the winter. When it started getting hot, we found that the car didn't have the "Audi summer package". The third row was not useable if the temperature was above 85 degrees. Even the second row didn't get good ventilation. What Arizona dealer orders a car without this package?! Anyway, now we were stuck with it through the term of the lease. When we turned the car in, we had a similar experience as the previous post and the residual. The sales manager and dealship manager would not return phone or e mails. The money owed us was never resolved. I wouldn't buy another Audi and certainly wouldn't buy a car from another Penske dealer.

Unethical Practice

Dealership offered to buy-back my Audi for more than my lease residual. Have not paid me what they owe me after 3 weeks time, but have paid off the residual lease balance. Do not return my calls, when I have spoken to someone I've been given the run-around. Strongly caution anyone buying an Audi to go to Scottsdale. I bought my first Audi from them and they were totally upfront and no games. Audi Chandler played games when I bought the car and are now playing games after I sold the car back to them. Bad Business!
