I put a deposit on a Toyota that was in transit. In talking to the internet sales manager, I requested information on transporting it to my home as I am approximately 300 miles from the dealer. I am 84yo and have a autoimmune disease and do not want to sit in an airport with Covid19 lurking about. He said he would get a quote and email me. That never happened. When the car arrived, he contacted me and said he would send papers to complete the deal. I asked him again about transportation.and he said he would check. A few hours later I checked for text messages and found one from him saying the car could not be transported and I had to contact him immediately to come pick it up or he would release it. I tried calling him a few times, but he didn't pick up. I then texted him. No response. Ghosted, Worst car transaction ever.

Wonderful Experience

I'll first say that about 7 years ago my oldest daughter and I had a great experience here when she purchased a certified preowned Corolla. Which she still has. They say what they mean when there is no haggling on price and they work with you for the best deal to get you in a car you car afford. And working with one person thru the whole process is the best. Not like other dealerships that keep you for hours and parade out all the managers trying to get you into a deal you can't afford. When my youngest daughter and I started looking for her car we should of just started here, but didn't. Then so happy we eventually did. In January we got my daughter a pre owned certified Camry. Mark worked with us and we got what she could afford. Great experience. Then unfortunately in May the Camry caught fire and was totaled. We went back to Avondale and again Mark worked with us. My daughter and I were both upset and not in the best frames of minds going in looking for another vehicle since we now had absolutely nothing to put down on any car. And weren't expecting to have to go thru car shopping again for awhile. Mark showed us a few used cars and with talking to him he made the suggestion of trying to see if we could do a lease. That was wonderful because it worked out. My daughter got a new 2014 Corolla where her payments aren't but a couple dollars more than they would be if purchasing a 2010 used vehicle with over 75 thousand miles. It made more sense for sure to go lease route. And in 3 years she can purchase the car at a price that will be under what that 2010 Corolla was. Mark turned our bad morning of car shopping into a positive and wonderful experience. We had to apologize to him if we had been rude because we weren't in a good mood having to car shop again after the experience we had with the Camry. I do want to say that we don't have an officical report of what happened with the Camry. The only thing right now is that it was something electrical that cause the battery to catch fire. No one was in the car so no one was injured. And insurance covered it being totalled plus we are thankful too that we got the Gap coverage so we aren't in the hole on the financing. We got that on the lease also. Overall Avondale Toyota does what it says with the price you get is what's on the window. And Mark was caring and helpful and my daughter was able to get a new car that she cn rely on and have for many years to come. Thank You Mark "Uncle Buck" and Avondale Toyota. You can bet that when any other car purchases need to be made we'll be out there. And I'm telling anyone I know that's looking to go see you. Too bad other dealerships (brands) don't work the same. :)

I WOULD BLEED FOR THESE GUYS...

Hands down the best car buying experience I've ever had. Easy, no pressure at all. None of that stupid "What are you willing to pay; let me go try and talk to the manager" game. You deal with one guy and it's fantastic. They are a volume dealership, so they're not trying to gouge people. They even showed me what they gave the person who traded in the car I bought! Also, the first reason I went here to buy a car was because I was treated like gold in the service department with my Sienna. It's had some pretty severe problems right after the extended warranty expired, and they worked like crazy to help me and make it affordable and easy. Honestly the best customer service I've ever had. Period. Avondale Toyota has a customer for life with me!

120 mile drive and worth every minute of it

I have been purchasing vehicles from Mark B. at Avondale Toyota for a few years now. Mark, and everyone else at Avondale Toyota for that matter, are extremely professional and not your typical car buying experience. Working in sales, I expect to be hassled and haggled any time I work with anyone else in sales. You simply do not have that problem here. There are no "key keeping" games (where your salesman keeps the keys to your trade in "hostage"), there is no price haggling, there is simply NO hassle. After purchasing the first vehicle from Mark at Avondale I knew that they had my business for life. Four vehicles later, they still have it. I have the confidence in the staff and in Mark to send all of my friends, family, colleagues, and customers of my own in to purchase their new vehicles. Living 160 miles round trip (yes, you read that right) and still making the trip to see Mark is a living testament to the service you can expect at Avondale Toyota. All of my immediate family now drive Toyota vehicles from Avondale Toyota, as well as most of my close friends. If you are looking for a new Toyota, or any used vehicle, you really owe it to yourself to check out Avondale Toyota. Ask for Mark B., and buy from the only dealership you will want to give your business to.

Nice place

Sales is not pushy. Went and talked several times before deciding to buy. They took me for my test drive twice and gave me an offer for my trade 2500 more than the other dealers. Inventory was great. Lots of choices. Plenty of water snacks and coffee for all. Place is clean and pleasant. No Mark up on addendums, like paint protection, tint and window etching. Thank goodness.

Avondale Toyota Experience

I made all of the arrangements over the phone to trade in my '09 Corolla LE and purchase a 2011 Corolla S. Darron Lee got me the exact model and color that I was looking for and he had all of the paperwork ready to sign when I walked in the door. He even gave me more on the trade-in value than he had quoted over the phone. I was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. I couldn't ask for better service than that. I've purchased or leased 4 Toyotas from Avondale in the past, and they have definitely earned my future repeat business.

Avondale Toyota = Great car buying experience!

We had a great experience with Avondale Toyota! As first time car buyers, my girlfriend and I were apprehensive about the prospect of being in a "pressure cooker" situation. However, our salesperson Mark Broughton, treated us very well and with utmost honesty. We told him what we were looking for and he never tried to sway our desires for something more pricey. Furthermore, we only had to deal with him from the time we set foot onto the lot until the time we drove away in our new car. There were two other features that set Avondale Toyota apart from the other dealerships we visited: 1) They offered more for our trade-in than anyone else; 2) contrary to what other dealers said, Mark was able to find a car that met our exact specifications (he appreciably worked doubly hard for this part). In addition, after we signed all of the paperwork, of which had zero hidden fees/taxes forewarned on edmunds.com, Mark gave us a mini-tour to show us where we could go for parts/services or questions that might arise in the future. We will continue to do business with Avondale Toyota even though it is a little out of our way!
