LX Sport Check your tires
After several months of searching, researching and test driving everything from a Subaru Impreza to the Lexus IS, I came across the Accord Sport almost by accident while at a Honda Dealer having another car serviced. I was amazed! The base LX was light years ahead of my 2002 model, and the sport version was equipped with just the right options, and not thousands of dollars worth of fragile high tech nonsense. An extensive test drive over more different roads than the salesman was used to confirmed my initial impression. While no one will mistake the Sport for a 3 series, the handling was precise and nimble, far superior to your average family sedan.
Best auto for the money
One of the best cars I have ever owned, cant believe people are having problems. Cant say enough about the gas mileage I'm getting 26.6 MPG city, have not done a hwy test as yet. I have just under 6000 miles and enjoy driving this car.
Honda Accord Sport 6M
Bought this car four months ago and have 1300 miles on it. The car is very comfortable and fun to drive. Unfortunately, the car has been back to the dealer 5 times . The seals around the drivers side window are bad. The car sounds like a wind tunnel above 60 mph. In addition, some part is bouncing around in the dash making a constant rattle. The local dealership and Honda North American did nothing to fix the problem until I made it clear I was filing a lemon law complaint. Build quality of this first year model has been below normal for Honda's usual high standards.
Proud to buy another Honda
I have a super commute that makes fuel mileage a priority which the Civic does a great job however comfort and convenience suffered Now with the new Accord EXL coupe I have good mileage combined with a quiet comfortable ride wrapped in more technology then seems possible It does not match my wife's A5 in luxury but it is not all that far away
Wow. Great car.
We also own a 2008 Accord EXL navi sedan, and so we can tell how big a jump Honda has made in several areas of this car. First, the 2013 Accord is *quiet*Âwhich is a first for the Accord. Second, the new engine is more powerful, faster, and yet gets better mpg. Finally, the interior quality is almost Acura-like.
