I was forced to buy a new car after my old one was totaled in an accident. I hate car shopping so I wasn't over thrilled to do it. Thanks to Edmunds car buying service and Phil Long Ford it was easy. I love the Ford Edge SEL. I handles like a dream and is easy to get in and out of. A plus was getting my 89 year father in and out plus there is a power port right next to the passenger seat for his oxygen machine. Love it.

This crossover feels more expensive than it was. Leather interior is top notch, large comfortable seats all around. The new sync 3 system is very intuitive and easy to use, navigation works like a charm. 4cyl engine is sufficient enough this a family car not a race car folks. Handles well and we are really enjoying this vehicle.....highly recommend it.

Don't buy it, terrible reliability

We bought an AWD SEL for my wife with every option. As soon as the car went out of warranty, the Pano Roof, Power Trunk and Power Driver Window stopped working. Took it to Ford dealer who quoted $5300 to fix?!? They told me to call Ford corporate for some assistance. Ford corportate told me that since the vehicle is out of warranty (by 2000 miles), they would not help at all. This car is worthless and a HUGE EXPENSE. Don't make the same mistake we did.

I bought my 2016 Edge SEL last month. I elected to get the 3.5L V6 and really enjoy the acceleration it offers. I'm still on my second tank of gas and I am getting 21.7 MPG in a mostly rural setting. I haven't had the car out on the highway yet. The ride is good and the drivers seat is quite comfortable. Visibility is good except for the back right side- there is a large blind spot there. The stereo is average; I got sync3 and found it easy to use. I'm not crazy about the voice activated commands so I probably won't use them too much. The all season floor mats are a joke. Save your money and buy WeatherTech mats! Option I wish I had-the 2.7L ecoboost! I didn't want to spring the extra cash for the sport version.

I've been driving Ford products for 35 plus years years by far this is the worst car I've own. I always said I will purchase nothing but a ford. After owing this edge I will purchase anything but a ford. Ford will not stand behind what they build. Still have issues with the handling with no resolve. I now have moisture forming in the tail light also large water droplets inside the tail light.s Ford will not cover this under their warranty. I've been told by the dealership this is an ongoing problem and the cost could run $3000.00 With no guarantee the new lights will not have the same issue. Paint issues bumper and hood and fender alignment is terrible. Ford will only cover the work needed on the hood. The fuel rating is 28 on the highway if I drive at 55 to 60 mph I may get 23 mpg at 70 it's under 20. Also have issues with the sync works when it feels like it. Ford will do nothing to resolve the problems. Stay away from the Edge and Ford they just don't care about their customer or the product they build. If I could rate this with less than a 1 star I would give it a negative 10 total garbage.
