Great Truck - Just one problem ....
This is my sixth consecutive Toyota truck since 1981 so no doubt I'm a faithful Toyota guy. I'm writing this review for one reason only and that's because of the lame integrated brake controller (IBC) in the 2016 Tundra. I've been towing a camper for the past 13 years and I know how to set them up and more importantly know when they are working. When I press on the brake pedal I get no felt braking from the camper even when set on the highest gain setting which considering the weight of my camper which is only 5,000 lbs. loaded, the highest gain setting should lock up my trailer brakes. I took it in for service with my camper and after a test drive while it was hooked up to a computer they said it was working correctly. That's fine for them, but if I jack-knife my camper, I'm the one who has to deal with the consequences of the accident. As the result of this situation, I installed an after-market BC and I'm now set to safely go camping.

Tundra NOW never going back !!!!
I've had a Ford,Gmc,& Dodge Ram in my past and don't know why it took me so long to come to the Tundra side... biggest thing is if something was to happen to my Tundra yes I would without a doubt go get me another one .. excellent truck. 03/05/19 ... have 69000 miles on it now & still haven't changed my mind on this truck. As of last summer I now pull a travel trailer instead of a popup ,the Tundra does not blink a eye even going through the Colorado mountain passes .. now I honestly know why Toyota hasn't changed nothing on the power train ...IT WORKS & NO NEED FOR CHANGE

High Expectation, Major Dissapointment
Being a lifetime Silverado owner, I decided it was time to try something new. Once past the test drive phase, I felt I may be making a mistake as it felt as if I was driving a heavy and uncomfortable box-truck and the ugly interior just wasn't doing it for me. But, I was willing to try it out, so I took it home with me. Within the first 2 months, the truck started feeling like it was lacking power, or as if I was towing something. I thought maybe it may be bad gas so I made sure to pump Chevron the next fill-up. Long story short, I gave up on the truck after a few miserable dealer visits and traded it in for Dodge Ram, and never looked back.
