2013 Nissan Cube 1.8 S 4dr Wagon (1.8L 4cyl CVT)
Sorry that Nissan discontinued the Cube, mine has 77,000 miles on it now and I expect it to keep on forever. Driving is fun, with great visibility and lots of head and shoulders room.

2013 Nissan Cube 1.8 S 4dr Wagon (1.8L 4cyl CVT)
You would think after owning a car for 5.5 yrs., I should know if I like it or not. But just as I reached the 5 year mark, at 35, 000 mi., the CVT tranny was ground into pieces . But, I do have to say NISSAN CORP. treated me quite well. Before and after this, I have had no issues. I am now at 42,000 mi. and have made friends again, with my car. For the first 5 years, I had such a crush … on the little car. The circular patterns in the cabin are great and it has as much visual personality as I do. Mine is base and one thing I love/hate about it is how close I can get to the windshield. I always have to make sure not to get so close, because my knees fight with the steering column. I am 4ft. 10 in., so the vision is one of the best, but, I just have to remember to not adjust it to maximum closeness... It rides scary on the hwy., driving 70-90 mph in the higher winds. Milage is ok, unless tranny is going out...I get 26 in town and 30 hwy. Me and my cube are now entering into the second stage of our relationship and the reason I say the jury is out is I have yet to see if it lives up to the expectation I had when I bought it, LOGEVITY! As long as it allows me to continue driving THIS CAR for the rest of my Texas Hill Country Driving Life, I will forgive that CVT triflin'. I am 62.5/f and Its so hard to tell because I only average about 3500 mi. per year. I see the car holding its resale pretty well, as the BOX CAR Cult is alive and growing! There must be something about that large, rather flat windshield, as I see others on the road with the same cracked windshield. I oughta follow my gut on this off-market Nissan and invest in the best warranty I can get, just to guarantee the longevity I crave, now that I have no payments and only liability on a fixed income. I have heard it called "a grocery hauler; a pretty ample description! I find it lags on the hills up there, but the car is used to Houston flatlands. So, with all the bitchin' I do about her, I have ask "What do I like about it that makes it the "longest I ever owned a car"? I bought it new, so any dents, or lack of maintenance are on me, I know where it has been..NO WATER DAMAGE AND AN AVAILABLE TITLE... AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, it starts when I wake up and gets me where I have to be every morning that I have to be somewhere. So, I do love it for its fidelity, but I got eyes on it and one more issue with it "slippin' around could ruin me and my cube...BUT, I am a hard taskmaster and require a lot for my money...Not planning on parting with it anytime soon!
