Had this sportage for 6 years from new & Loved it. We Never had any issues with reliability. Front seats on very long drives require adjustment a bit more than other vehicles we have to stay comfortable. Mpg is decent, the best we've seen is 28 on the highway and 21 in town on an sx model, awd with the 2.0 turbo 4 cylinder. It has very tight and precise steering, and impressive acceleration at any speed. The ride can get a little rough sometimes, but, keep in mind, the suspension is tuned more for sport. Awd is excellent as well in the snow. Drove through 3 feet of snow in pa with no issue whatsoever. Unfortunately we outgrew the sportage and had to get a bigger vehicle.
