Very Disappointed in the Reliability
We purchased the 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland brand new from the Jeep dealership. After only 3 years and 72,000 miles, the check engine light comes on. The diagnostic indicated a Cylinder 2 Misfire. The fuel injector was changed at a cost of $500 and the 3 recalls were repaired and that did not solve the problem. The dealer now says that this is a major repair and the engine will have to be broken down to identify the problem. I am repeatedly told by the dealer that the vehicle is out of warranty and suggested I contact Chrysler to ask for some assistance with the repair costs. After 20+ days of car rentals at my own expense, the problem still has not been identified. I am surprised and disappointed in the Reliability and am concerned about the longevity of this very pricy SUV.
