I love my S!
Louise, Hollister, CA, 04/27/2019
2019 Ford Fusion S 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6A)
Sure, I could have paid a little more for another model, but the S model is more than adequate to get me from a to b and it has almost all of the safety features that a more expensive model has. While the pick up is not the greatest, it most definitely holds it own on the open road. I am more than pleased with my choice, the car is classy looking, turns a lot of heads and is just a joy … to drive. My favorite feature is the reactive head lights, simply genius. I highly recommend!
Classy Fusion gives "Ms. Fantastic" a New Attitude

2019 Ford Fusion S 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6A)
The folks on my job calls me "Ms. Fantastic", and when I drove up in my new car, compliments started flying. The 2019 Ford Fusion Sedan looks classy (like it's owner), and is futuristic! It handles well on the road AND the ride is SMOOTH. I especially like the phone feature. At the touch of a button on my steering wheel, I speak out loud to my "personal secretary" who follows my … commands! While driving at night, the lights on my 2019 Ford Fusion Sedan automatically adjusts from high to low beam so that the oncoming car does not get blinded by my high beam -- a neat feature! I no longer have to adjust my lights manually! When I accidentally got too close to a car that was in front of me, the warning alarm with flashing lights on top the dash board near the windshield turned on -- another neat feature! Never have I been able to fill the car up from Empty to Full on only $25.00! Haven't had a lot of time off to see what else my car can do. The only thing I miss is my CD player. I was told to download Spotify or Pandora radio on my phone which is synced to my car. Maybe can download YouTube. Much has yet to be discovered.

2019 Ford Fusion S 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6A)
Ive got the 2.5 4 banger and its wonderful. On the open road its smooth and enjoyable to drive. One of the best features is the gas mileage. I drive about 60 miles per hour constantly and avg 37 mpg. The fusion is a great looking sedan and I get lots of compliments about its appearance, I have the metallic granite exterior. The synch system works amazingly well, I can play music from a … usb drive so I dont need the cd player. Large trunk and the vehicle overall is one of the best Ive ever had...Ive had over 70 brand new vehicles in my life. The warning leds on the dash work very well if someone is pulling off the road very slowly and Im approaching them closely, also let me know if vehicles are approaching from behing or side. If I drive 70MPH constantly mpg falls to 35 mpg. Very good sedan.
Solid well built vanilla car.

2019 Ford Fusion S 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6A)
I got mine with the base 2.5 L 175 horse engine. I get 27 miles per gallon City and over 30 Highway. The car is very comfortable, at least for me. I replaced the base 16in wheels and tires with 17in Michelin all climate tires. Coming up on 30,000 miles no mechanical issues so far.

Which Fusion does Edmunds recommend?
The 2019 Ford Fusion is available in several appealing configurations but we like the Fusion SE. Just above the base-level S, the SE has an impressive amount of standard equipment and several engines to choose from. Ford's new Co-Pilot360 Assist system is available on the SE and it includes adaptive cruise control and voice-controlled navigation. The SE also gets dual-zone climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and Ford's excellent Sync 3 voice controls. For engines at the SE level, we recommend upgrading to either the 1.5-liter or the 2.0-liter turbocharged choice.

Driving
7.5The Fusion isn't as dynamically impressive as it once was, but it's still a likable car that puts up some solid numbers in braking and handling. Not many cars in this segment are focused on driving enjoyment, but the Fusion remains entertaining despite lackluster acceleration.
Comfort
8.0Though the Fusion has some minor issues with comfort, they're relatively easy to forgive. The ride is generally smooth on the highway, road noise is kept to a minimum, and the front seats are a particularly nice place to sit, even for hours at a time.
Interior
8.0Almost everyone should find the Fusion's interior pleasant and accommodating. It's easy to get in and out of, the driving position is nicely adjustable, and the cabin offers a good amount of space. Tall passengers might take issue with the sloping rear roofline when getting into the back seat.
Utility
8.5A large trunk and plenty of cabin storage for small items make the Fusion good for storing lots of your stuff on a daily basis or for family road trips.
Technology
8.5With the Sync 3 infotainment system and the advent of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the Ford Fusion is one of the more approachable and tech-friendly vehicles on the market. It's easy to connect devices, execute voice commands, or navigate to a destination without a steep learning curve.
