Toyota dealer integrity

After 51,000 miles I’m getting 42 mpg. Shocked expecting at least 50 mpg or better because of my conscientious driving habits. Stopped at Ashland Wisconsin Toyota dealer and the lady service manager said I needed a fuel injection cleaning. “What”. Been servicing my Camry at only Toyota dealers it was never mentioned that I needed a fuel injection cleaning for $147. Then I asked for my free tire rotation thinking they would honor that since I bought the most expensive tires at a Texas Toyota dealer. Nope. Sorry she said this is a franchise we don’t do that. Ok I moved from Texas to Wisconsin and I think this is a common scam that dealers do across the country. Toyota needs to honor travelers like this.

I just traded in my 2019 Camry xle Hybrid for 2020 Camry xle Hybrid. To me feels, Drives, and rides about 40% Better than 2019 models. I personally work at a Toyota Dealership. It’s a lot quieter than 2019 . I know all the Webb said it’s same car except android.

I loved my 2010 Lexus hybrid 250. This camray hybrid has many of the same features. Navigational system, leather heated bucket seats., moon roof, 8 speaker radio, up and down plus forward and backward seat controls, it is sporty and has lots of safety features, back up camera, lane warnings, dual temperature controls, keyless entry and start. It is looks very much like my beloved Lexus. Estimated 44 miles to the gallon

Excellent car with good power and mileage

Quiet, comfortable interior, excellent acceleration with plenty of smooth available power when needed. Averaged 64mpg in local driving in the summer with 800 miles per tank, averaged 75mpg on long, mostly rural non-interstate trips and 53 mpg at 70 mph on long interstate trips in the summer. Averaged 53mpg in local driving, 65 mpg on long non-interstate trips, and 48mpg on interstate trips in the winter. Some people have complained about the loud noise, sounding like a loose belt, that the car makes when backing up or driving at low speed. It is made by a 4ohm speaker behind the radiator that can be easily replaced by a 4 ohm, 25 watt resistor to quiet things down. Don’t know why they put the noise maker in there since the electric motors make an easily noticed noise when the car is in motion. Otherwise, all in all, a nearly perfect car.

Wife and I love this hybrid. Traded in a ‘15 Ram 1500 for it; after we spent nearly a grand in fuel visiting my family in California. This Toyota can really keep its own on the highway when needed. After the 5k mileage break in period, we average about 50mpg, which is a massive improvement over the 14mpg we were getting in the truck. Only thing that I have a peeve about is the infotainment area is unnecessarily glossy, and the volume button is out of range of anyone but the driver, and that’s a stretch. If you can, definitely get the stereo upgrade (we found out it has one after we’d already took delivery). The only really annoying thing is the sound of the electric motor when backing into a spot, or when the system is cold in morning. The safety tech is top of the line. IIHS top safety pick+. Haven’t had to use that yet, but it was a selling point. Although not having a TPMS sensor in the display cluster, or even oil life is kinda a let down. If you can do without those, pick this up, we got a great deal with discounts and rebates.
