After a total of 200 miles, it’s hard to land on a qualified view. This truck has me pretty excited nonetheless. It’s a 2021 4Runner Off Road Premium. It is gorgeous inside and out. With the KDSS suspension modification it’s moves its 5000# self easily, handling like a car. Did I say it is beautiful? It is. The cockpit details delight me. Exterior fit and finish are fine. The accessories are sweeeeet. Can’t go 5 stars yet, but I do expect with time my opinion will improve. Two negatives - 1) as promised, it only gets 16 to 17 mpg. 2) it is so gorgeous I can’t bear to take it off-road. Colorado pinstripes await me out there and I will cry when/if they appear. Boy, I really love my little red truck!!!

Just bought 2020 4Runner and it’s amazing! Smooth ride considering the off road capability. Also helps that it’s one of the most reliable SUVs as well.

This the 2020 4Runner SR5 am doing review.Like the wider visibility as it’s a little high than my previous car and the engine is very responsive esp when you change lane and needs to accelerate faster, also chosen this over previous year model as it’s has the TSS.

Why I won't upgrade my 2016 4Runner to the 2020

After reviewing all the 2020 4Runner Changes AND taking it out for 5+ test rides (including 2 alone - no dealer), I will NOT be upgrading my 2016 4Runner LTD to the 2020 version for the following reasons (ranked in order of importance for me): 1. No Power Tailgate. 2. No Power Folding Mirrors 3. Paint still scratches easily (I tested while the dealer wasn't looking) 4. No Heated Steering wheel. 5. No Heated Rear seats 6. No Dynamic Rear Camera Lane Guides 7. The TSS-P version they put in the 2020 4Runner, is substandard .... - no full dynamic radar control - no steering assist 8. Same brake rotors (which will warp between 20-35k miles) ... albeit my dealer addressed mine outside of warranty w/no charge ... thank you groove Toyota! 9. Auto Running Board sensor failure still not addressed (same sensor as in all 5th gen's equipped with the auto running boards) 10. LED absent everywhere? yeist! 11. same powertrain (motor and tranny) ... this is expected but the fuel economy is really lacking and the HP/Torque for the size/weight is underpowered when mountain driving

The interior features improvements on this model compared to the 2019 are awesome. Proximity sensor for locking and unlocking the doors, push button start, android auto, larger & better touch display screen, as well as the safety sense features for auto adjusting cruise & lane departure notification. Loooove it!
