I traded a fairly new BMW 500 series for the Kia in 2017 and I haven’t looked back. Great car and fun to drive. Happy camper here.

This car has so many bells and whistles, it’s a joy to drive, and runs like a charm. Love the heated steering wheel and seats! Also, love the upgraded audio system! I looked for 3 1/2 months for a used car that would answer most of my needs and this one does that. The only setback is the gas mileage. It’s not great. But everything else is fabulous.

So far so good

I have Kia Sportage LX AWD, driven 86000 km, I own this car for about a year and here's my opinion: The car is good in general, has a fantastic suspension system, equipped with most features you need for a safe ride, excellent safety rating, good looking car, spacious interior, runs well on snow. Now let's go straight to the weak points: If you're looking for a real SUV ride feeling, then maybe this car in not for you, it's such compact, that you don't know if it's an suv or a big hatchback car! The trunk is very small,it barely fits my son's stroller, even a mid size sedan has bigger trunk. The fuel economy in the city is terrible, the full tank makes around 340 km. Paradoxically the highway fuel consumption is great, it can travel for 550 km on full tank. The responsiveness of this car is a bit slow, expect to wait 2 seconds after you hit the gas to get the desired result, especially when you're driving faster than 50 km/h. The engine seems not powerful as for 2.4 L engine, the acceleration and not that great. I had a bad acceleration and strange transmission shifts, went to the dealer and they fixed it, the said it's the transmission control unit, the just reset it. Seems good but the acceleration especially on uphill is not as I want. Finally I don't regret it but I might think twice if the price will be the same for 2015 or 2016 RAV4 or CR-V.

Absolutely love this vehicle, did a lot of research, drove a lot of cars, this IS the small SUV to have, makes my commute so much better, base engine could be a little more powerful, but is more than adequate, has everything. Zero complaint s, I love it.
