1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport V6
I bought my Cherokee Sport only in 2009. It has been very reliable, and is a daily driver. I enjoy the V6, and get an est 18-21 mil pr gall. This jeep has been well maintained which is a huge plus. The stereo is upgraded to a pioneer cd player (nice), and off road tire package makes it look very sporty! Besides that everything is factory. I have driven it for a few weeks now and it has done well. Hasn't used any oil, and has 129,000 miles! I use it to deliver pizzas 4 days a week, and it's great on gas for an SUV. I plan on keeping it for a long time.
15 years before I had to part with her!!
I had a 2WD with the 4.0 L in-line 6-cylinder engine. I had to replace the water pump twice, but that was fairly inexpensive and certainly much cheaper than getting a new car. The car handled well and was great on long road trips, especially when I splurged and put the Michelin tires on it and the road noise went down considerably. Even with just 2-wheel drive, it was great in snow and ice. I finally shed a couple of tears when I had to part with her because I got a company car.
