Bought a 2013 Certified Pre-owned back in 2015. 2 years layer it cant even pass inspection due to the faulty intake manifold that has been a problem on many volkswagens with the 2.0 turbo motor. My CPO warranty just expired last month and volkswagen wont even cover this part. I am going back to BMW as the volkswagen symbol is tarnished too bad to recover with me.

My 2013 Volkswagen CC is the worst car I have ever owned. In just 40,000 miles I have had ever problem possible with this car. First the clutch on the manual transmission burned out within 24 hours of driving off the lot. (I have 20 years of experience driving manual never burned one clutch) Then this thing with the motor and the EPC warning. (was covered by a recall but not anymore) Then the trunk pops open whenever I put the car in reverse. Finally the adaptive headlight just stopped working today. Going back to BMW. I will do whatever I can to prevent anyone I know from buying a VW lemon in the future. I still think this car was very bad and I would never buy it again. I would do everything in my power to prevent anyone in my family from buying this sad car.

Love that Car

The VW CC has super styling, unlike the Passat. The 4 cyl engine provides plenty of power with decent mileage (23 city, up to 33 hyw). It is comfortable inside, but low roof makes sitting inside uncomfortable for anyone over 6'4 or so. Trunk has decent space and is flexible when back seats are folded down. Maintenance was routine until 9th year when I had to replace injectors. Unfortunately, I iunderstrand 2017 was the last production year for the CC.

I absolutely love how my car drives - the V6 engine has powerful acceleration and the car feels very sporty which I like. The car has a lot of spunk. If you want a sports car feel with many of the features found in a luxury sedan ---the Lux V6 is the way to go. It is a very attractive car and I get a lot of compliments when driving it. People are always asking what it is because of the unique look.
