2022 Toyota Corolla
We had the opportunity to drive a slightly less new Corolla for about a month before this 2022 was delivered so we got to know it fairly well. It handles nicely on back highways as well as open ones, perhaps best on back ones with curves. We feel quite safe with the great number of safety features. Overall mileage was, if anything, better than specifications. Some of the bells and … whistles of modern cars are over-the-top--beyond what we need--but some are appreciated: the smart-key entry and ignition; the information on the dash with current mileage, outside temperature, the monitoring of speed limits; inside environmental controls; leather-wrapped steering wheel; blind spot monitor; cruise control radar; the central analog odometer with digital readout beside it; and more. Cabin noise is a bit louder than we expected but conversation is not a problem. The lights are quite adequate, so our visibility to other drivers should be very good. Riding in the car under different circumstances of quite comfortable.
