Bought this used with 26000 miles on it. It's quiet, comfortable, powerful. I get an honest 23 mpg with it (but I do mostly highway driving). In fact, it's the nicest car I have ever owned. But it's not without flaws. 1. This car is so short on storage! Not enough drawers, pouches, etc, to put "stuff" 2. Doors don't prop and hold open at enough convenient positions. Have to open the doors all the way most of the time to really be sure they stay open. 3. AM radio reception is poor. AM is still handy for news and such. This thing can't pull in most of the stations my old radio could. FM is fine. 4. Sliding armrest thing is silly.
Smooth ride, comfortable, excellent acceleration especially for a 5000 lb car. Gorgeous easy-to-read-and-use dash and controls. Nice cargo area in back.
More storage areas for things like gloves, umbrellas, CDs, etc. Put pockets on the seat backs Make the doors hold really firm at the halfway open position.
My husband and i just bought a used 2006 nissan murano - this is my first SUV and i thought it would be hard to drive but its great, easy and fun to drive, turns well, love the sunroof and the backup camera. Comfortable seats, quiet engine. overall a great car - would definitely recommend.
backup camera, seat position memory, sunroof
GPS system is kind of annoying to use - not quite as user friendly as my garmin and they dont provide the lifetime map update like garmin does. Could use another charging outlet on the dashboard (there is only one inside the armrest)
I absolutely love this car. Very comfortable as the driver; and get lots of compliments on how comfortable the back seat passengers are. Excellent "road trip" vehicle offering extreme comfort and dependability.
Keyless entry & ignition Smart key will no allow you to lock yourself out of the car while key is still in the car (very important feature for me who has the habit of locking keys in car)Bose system offers incredible stereo sound (great for road trip) dual climate control no complaining passengers
A/C control on steering wheel; other than that, can't think of of thing to complain about.
The Murano is a nice car but the gas mileage stinks. although it says 20 mpg in the city and 25 on highway on the posted window tag, the real truth is 15 mpg city driving. The dealer told me to switch to high test gas and I did. now I get 15.7 mpg. I don't rough ride the car and don't pull out fast from stops. I had a nissan Max before and was satisfied with 20 mpg. so this is a big drop, especially when gas was 4.00 per gal. The interior came only in black or Tan. Not much of a choice. It does have a lot of room and has a good ride, city and highway. I have a 2007....
LCD display, not to happy with the orange color gauges. like the drop down seats in the back. Had to take out the head rest in the back middle seat to see out the back window.
a more neutral color like gray would be better than black. Gets to hot in the summer.
It's reliable, comfortable and well made. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Interior materials not as premium as they look. Leather wrinkles on drivers seat have begun to crack thru. Simulated alloy trim on center console dents easily.
