Not impressed

I am not that impressed with my S-Type. It doesn’t even feel like a luxury car to me. The inside is very basic, the stereo system is horrible, and perhaps I needed to upgrade the stereo system. However, for the amount of the car, one would think the car would have a better sound system. The car has no cool features! Ok, I have memory seats, that's basically it. Nothing about this car feels luxurious! I hope that they do a better job with the redesigned S-Type. It should be more wonderful things about a car other than the exterior appearance, having a great interior, as well as great features makes a car complete. I cannot believe that the original asking price for this car was $45, 000. There is no way this car was ever worth that amount of money.

Very comfortable and stylish. The interior is quiet even at higher speeds. Fit and finish is excellent. A great value when you purchase an older Jaguar that has been well maintained. Lots of power with surprisingly good gas mileage As an update the maintenance has been minimal with regular oil changes. Love my Jag...she is a keeper!!

SUPERB 20 year old AUTOMOBILE

2004 S-Types have most of Jaguar's bad press bugaboos ironed out. Classic Looks, Comfort & Luxury. Retro-look is quite well done. Prices are going up & now is a good time to purchase pristine ones. Make sure each & every dashboard function does work. Memory Seat+Steering Wheel+Mirrors+Pedals give drivers additional comfort. Outside mirrors heat up along with the back glass which is very good. Only drawbacks really are below 20 MPG in city driving and suspension rubber parts wear. A True Classic Marque & Fun To Drive With Spirit !! If you have an Experienced Jaguar Mechanic Locally, have him do a once-over for you prior to your investment. Pre- 2003 S-Types are prone to rust issues along the wheel wells & the body-to-under pan seams, that are very expensive to repair if at all !!
