Starts great and goes down hill quickly. DO NOT BU
Let’s buy made in the USA. The Acadia is reasonably priced for similar comps, looks great and timeless and the test drive loved how it handled more like a car. Then we hit 45,000 miles repair after repair but what do we care it’s under warranty too bad the idiot light in my head didn’t go off saying this is a poorly made piece of junk. 100K fast forward off of warranty for the next 9,000 miles spent $6000 just to keep it running. Hello Japan good buy GMC. It’s crap and they did do nothing to fix the problems they know exists. Still looks god I the drive way though.

Bought newer car to have Air
I purchased a newer car to have air conditioning, which I told dealer and I didn't have cash to fix anything, which I found out after purchasing 2012 Acadia Denali it had leakage problem and I wasn't told. They claimed to sell 100% quality cars and sold me their problem. We've had to replace freon multiple times in 2 years after they had already put leak color additive in it to find leak. I guess they gave up and never fixed it. It also has an awful smell that comes from air conditioning/ heater. It makes you sick and allergy clogged. And no one will tell you for certain what the pounds of freon should be because sticker wears off and no one can read them. This is beyond ridiculous when you pay this kind of money for a new car. Very sad.

Steering and rear tail door
Turn the wheel all the way to either side and it clunks, they say it's normal. It scared the heck out of me first time. This is not normal. I'm sure there'll be a recall in the future, there should be. Beware til they fix this problem, if they fix it. Metal to metal coming from rear hatch area when I go over bumps. Four days they've been trying to figure that one out, they still have it. I wouldn't recommend it at this time. I should have stuck with my Yukon. 2013 has not been a good year for the Acadia, looks good but looks ain't everything.
Trans a money pit
I bought the Arcadia back in 2021 it had 83000 on it worked perfect for three months then the trans was shuddering around the 1.5 rpm mark,it stopped shuddering at the 2 rpm mark.then the traction control was malfunctioning sometimes the engine would stop and the engine light would flash I would shut the engine off then I started the engine again didn’t come back on.the voltage dummy gage would always be high the sometimes be normal never found out what was the problem there.but if you can live those problems it’s a great suv.

Long Life, Very Pleased
I am possibly in the market for a new vehicle after my 2012 GMC Acadia Denali I think has finally decided to expire. I bought this vehicle brand new in 2012. While I have had some issues with it. It has served me well and kept my family safe. Couple problems: 1. @ 100,000 miles, needed torque converter 2. @ 100,000 miles needed new struts 3. Rear light lens needed to be replaced d/t moisture 4. Front light lens needed to be replaced d/t moisture 5. @ 150,000 miles navigation stopped working (didn't feel this was necessary to replace) 6. @ 200,000 miles driver front heated seat stopped working (didn't feel this was necessary to replace) 7. @250,000 tail gait lifter no longer would hold tail gait. Easy fix Very very minimal rust at this time There may have been a couple more small fixes in there but overall the torque converter and struts were by far my most expensive fixes. I currently have 304,000 miles on it now. I just noticed a transmission leak. This may be a simple seal, if so I'll be fixing it, if not I will have to say good bye. While there has been several mixed reviews on this vehicle, I have been very blessed to get such a long life out of a car. Thank you GM
