Purchased this truck over a year ago, used. I have since driven across the country 4x from MN to TX. Truck has the 6.7 PS diesel, 4x4, extended cab. I averaged 17mpg for the entire year on "good" diesel fuel. Economy drops a bit with winter blend fuel, to about 14mpg. That being said, this a 6700lb truck empty. I added lightweight wheels and a bed cap/topper and was managing 20mpg. I absolutely love this truck. It's been really good to me. Regular maintenance, as with all my cars, is important. Be prepared to spend more for diesel. It's a 38 gallon tank. Oil change runs about $180, $240 if the fuel filters are included. Overall, I'd say the refined 6.7 is a great motor. Just make sure you dig directly into what you are looking for in a super duty. Or custom order a new one with all the hardware you want. Mine is stamped XL, but it has a lot of options from the XLT and Lariat. PS the selection below only lets me select the gas model. 6.7 Power Stroke.
