2004 Jeep Wrangler SUV Rubicon 4WD 2dr Convertible SUV (4.0L 6cyl 5M)

Review

this is an awesome car. Although, it is a bit loud with the soft top on at high speeds and the handling is pretty bad at high speeds as well. This car is very fun to drive on and off the road. Great for anyone.

Best Features

Removable Top that isnt hard to handle. Very easy to off road with. Tons of aftermarket product.

2004 Jeep Wrangler SUV Rubicon 4WD 2dr Convertible SUV (4.0L 6cyl 5M)

Review

I use my Rubicon as both a daily driver AND a weekend off-roader. These guys have done their homework...this is destined to go down as one of the great Jeeps. The vehicle feels very solid, and is prepared to tackle any obstacle. It is a lot quieter than I expected, and the ride is smooth on the highway (for a Jeep). It is rugged and fun, and one of the few vehicles left that can be easily worked on...though I have yet to have any problems at 3000 miles. I have NEVER enjoyed a vehicle this much. If you want soft fuzzy comfort, go buy a Mercedes. This is not for the latte-drinking suburban soccer moms. All meat, no fluff.

Best Features

-The entire off-road package...very well thought out. -Powerful heating and air conditioning. -Round headlights!

Worst Features

-Fuel economy! -Second and third gear ratios could be closer together. -Third seat belt in back seat should be standard. -Flip latch on driver's seat as well as passenger's. -Free access to all fire roads nationwide (hey, it's worth a shot)

2004 Jeep Wrangler SUV X 4WD 2dr Convertible SUV (4.0L 6cyl 5M)

Review

I have had more fun with my Jeep Wrangler than any other car I have wned. I bought the solar yellow and it turns heads everwhere I go. I have the X model with the in line 6 cyl engine. I hve heard rummors that the in line 6 will be replaced with the v-6. i think that would be a mistake to to this.

Review

Bought my Rubicon as a wedding gift to ourselves in 2002. Great wedding gift. It's a rough ride and truck like, the way Jeeps are meant to be. Never expected to ride like a BMW. Having many of the upgrades from the factory saved from trying to upgrade myself and messing it up or finding someone to do it right. In the Army for 14yrs, and taught soldiers how to drive Hummers and larger vehicles. I can say the Rubicon is as capable as Hummer. And at a lot lower cost. But never been to a Jamboree though. Looking forward to one after coming back form Iraq.

Best Features

Stock Dana 44s, air lockers, 31" tires, topeless and doorless. 4.0L has adequate power. Great drivetrain ratios. Really go anywhere. Still looks like a Jeep.

Worst Features

better bumpers, additional fuse box for accesories, waterproof seats, better quality control, stronger tailgate hinge (too weak for 31s and bike rack), more power from engine, better fuel economy

2004 Jeep Wrangler SUV SE 4WD 2dr Convertible SUV (2.4L 4cyl 5M)

Review

i love my jeep. i have never owned a vehicle that is more fun to drive or more reliable. easy to maintain and upgrades are unlimited if you have the budget for them. a huge support group is available on the web for all jeep related issues.

Best Features

soft top removable doors height

Worst Features

noise reduction would be nice. a better way to attach the soft windows so that it is easier and faster when caught in a sudden rainstorm.
