Used 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Hatchback Consumer Reviews
C230 Coupe(OK, It's a hatchback).
This is a solid, quiet, fast, sporty, comfy riding, economical, comfortable on long trips, reasonably priced vehicle. The automatic is slower shifting than the manual but is versatile. Brakes are strong & progressive. Lighting systems & controls are sturdy/effective. Very roomy with back seats down. A bit awkward to back up due to lack of clear rear view or side rear views. Tracks well and feels secure and safe. Great car.
CONSUMER BEWARE!
Starting about 20 min after buying this car I started to have serious problems. 1)Dead battery, jumped start. 2)Auto- transmission stuck in 2nd, car towed and computer reprogrammed. 3)Rough braking, all discs/pads replaced. 4) Pulling right, car was re-aligned. 5) Small crack in rear plastic window, car needed new window and body panel which needed re-painting. The car have 600 miles, + been for about 2 weeks out for repairs. The dealer refuses to take it back. I am being forced to try the lemon law.

Fun to drive
A car that will run 152 mph, gets 33 mpg highway, great looks, and a Mercedes to boot. Look no further than the C230. One drive and my wife and I were hooked. Driving a big SUV took the fun out of driving. This car is a blast.
This is my toy car
I have the car (2002 C230 Cope 6MT with the sport pkg and the panorama sunroof) already 18 month and this is my toy car. It makes me younger! With the car suspension I feel that I am driving like on a German autobahn again. The car service on my local dealership is just great. What else do I need?
1st Mercedes
Not another Camry or Accord. More cost effective than BMW or Audi. Very good exterior style - turns heads. I was looking for a Passat, and when I saw the Mercedes and test drove it, I was sold.
