Overview
If you aren't familiar with the Corsair, that's not surprising. It's only been around for a few years and hasn't made a big splash in the luxury SUV world. It's the smallest and most affordable SUV in the Lincoln's all-SUV lineup. The larger Nautilus offers a roomier cabin and the Aviator provides seating for seven, but both are significantly more expensive. The Corsair has two main things going for it: an efficient plug-in hybrid model and a low starting price for a luxury SUV.

The Corsair's low starting price is one of its few standout qualities alongside its sleek and sophisticated design. The little Lincoln has one the lowest starting prices in its class, only beaten by the Buick Envision. It's priced closer to a smaller subcompact luxury SUV or a fully loaded non-luxury SUV like a Honda CR-V. The Corsair's attractive starting price doesn't mean Lincoln skimped on standard features. The base Premiere model comes well equipped with a large 13.2-inch center touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, heated front seats and synthetic leather upholstery. Better yet, it also includes a large package of advanced driver aids including adaptive cruise control and front and rear automatic braking.
Competitors to consider
There's no shortage of small luxury SUVs to consider because it's one of the largest segments. The well-equipped and comfortable Corsair is a worthy choice, but you should consider some of its rivals. The impressive Genesis GV70, the plush Mercedes-Benz GLC and the refreshed-for-2025 Acura RDX are some of our top-performing small luxury SUVs. They have more to offer than the Corsair but cost more. BMW completely redesigned the X3 for 2025 too, and we expect it to be very competitive. The Lexus NX is another solid choice that includes hybrid options, while the Buick Envision is a budget-friendly alternative.
Which Corsair does Edmunds recommend?
Go for the midlevel Reserve trim to get the most for your money. The Reserve adds a few features plus the Collection II package, which adds several worthy upgrades like a 360-degree camera system and ventilated front seats. The optional Collection III package is pricey but required if you want the BlueCruise hands-free highway driving system.
The overall sentiment for the Lincoln Corsair is mixed. Owners love the car's comfy ride, good looks, and cool features like heated seats and a big touchscreen. However, some find the touchscreen hard to use while driving, and others complain about build quality and noise. If you love tech and comfort, it's a great choice, but some owners wish it felt more like a true luxury car.

2025 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric plug-in hybrid EVT)
Exceptionally smooth and quiet ride. Everything seems to well organized on the dash with a little learning curve using screen to access most items. Not a fan of the backup beeping it makes, but understand why since it’s a hybrid and passerby's can’t hear the car cause it makes no engine sound.
