Dying of heat in VA

My air conditioner has gone out 4 times! First time was under warranty. I’ve had no air this summer 7 weeks. Heat index in the 100’s. Trouble with the dealership and Kia Consumer. After nearly $3,000, I still have no air and I’m fighting with them to pay for this repair. But it could be several weeks out to get parts!😡

I bought 2019 Sportage SX turbo last December. yesterday, I was travel in Boston and way back to home, over 100 miles away from my home. My car was stop in highway and engine light came up and I couldn't move so I called Kia road assistance and they said it would take up to 90 mins but nobody came up so i just called the police and they call third party tow company to tow my Sportage. Now my car is in dealership. I will never buy Kia.

The painting process and luster is inferior

I hate the paint on this car. Manufacturer cut core nerd while painting the car. They paint the car with the doors on. Also the color is very dull. Car also came from the factory with a loose line underneath the the rear passenger side wheel that was not routed and clipped properly.

Want to loose 44% of the value within 11 months?

We bought a fully loaded 2019 Kia Sportage from Kia of Abilene in Dec. 2018 for just over $32K. Four months later when we took it up with the service department, we were informed that there is a "software update" for the GPS (ours was not doing great with directions) and that we would have to purchase the new software, and IF I remember correctly, the price was somewhere in the $300 range - FOR A VEHICLE which was still basically brand new!!! Come Nov. 2019, I took it in for a service and got talking to one of the salesmen. The Sales Manager offered us $18K-$20 for our vehicle with 7300 miles on it - thus still NEW!! That means this vehicle dropped in value from $32,000 to $18,000 in 11 months!! 11 Months later, it was worth $14,000 LESS. That is horrific - and I would not suggest ANYONE buy a Kia Sportage -= UNLESS you have a lot of money to WASTE on a vehicle that has a noisy interior, where they sell you a vehicle with outdated GPS software and then expect you to fork out $300+ for the "updated software". What bothers me the MOST is the loss in VALUE - 44% in 11 months - thus the dealership proved to me that the Kia Sportage is OVER-PRICED from the word go! I would NOT even recommend it to someone I do not even like! It is NOT economical (we went from an all wheel drive to a 2 wheel drive) be3cause the AllWheel was heavy on gas, but the 2 wheel version does not do much better - 26-28 miles per gallon highway!
