Greaty Little Buggy
I've been very happy with my CRV except for a few problems. First thing was the tires (especially the front) wearing out so quickly. I noticed in doing research I wasn't the only CRV owner with this problem. The next issue with my CRV is the lock actuator problem. The left rear door will no longer lock permanently. It locks and unlocks.....locks and unlocks. You come to a stop and the door unlocks. Start driving and it locks again...you can't trust it to lock so it is a security issue at all times. I had it fixed under lock problem warrant at Honda World in Downey but within a year it was the same problem. I couldn't get it back in there so went to Norm Reeves Honda in Cerritos and they replaced it in October 2015 under the same 'lock actuator' warranty. In March 2016 it started the same thing again. I had to make an appointment a week out to even get it back to Norm Reeves and now they want $375 to fix it. Says it's a different problem. It's the same door doing the same thing. Now this to me is a problem that Honda should gladly fix but they won't. The CRV is comfortable to ride in on trips, gets up to 32 MPG on trips. I'm very satisfied with my CRV....except for the above noted items. Honda...step up to the plate. JUNE 30, 2017 I still really like this car. At 100,000 miles I took it in to the dealer to have a tune up. When I went back they told me they didn't do it because there was no need. Everything was just like it should be, spark plugs included. I asked how can that be, they had another service tech check it out with the same answer. This car is now 10 years old and has the original spark plugs etc and still getting excellent gas mileage. My biggest issue was the door actuator locks. The last time it cost me $200 and I don't think I should have had to pay that. The dealer worked with me at Auburn Honda since it had been done 2 times before but said Honda wouldn't stand behind the problem so I had to pay. Other than that I'd buy this car all over again JULY 5, 2018 Here iit is another year later and I still love my CRV. It now has about 114,000 thousand miles on it and still running great. And still has the original spark plugs in it! It averages my in town driving at about 21 to 22 Miles per gallon. Yesterday out on the road at 70 it was hitting right at 31 MPG so it is still running great and getting good mileage. Wear & tear is showing now though. The driver's leather seat is showing the wear and the driver's door handle has worn some of the leather completely off. Even the front passenger seat that isn't used too much has shown the wear. I've had the vehicle detailed and hand waxed multiple times over the years so for the most part, the paint is in good condition. For some reason on the back tailgate, it almost seems like the paint is missing as opposed to faded. And on the passenger side window bar, the black is all faded out. It has been garage kept for the most part so I find those things annoying. But.....the car runs great and doesn't cost me much to keep on the road. Oil changes, one set of brakes, 3 sets of tires. The last Michelins are the best, can't even see any wear after 30,000 and 2 years. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! July 6,, 2019 Now my car is 12 years old. Still all the original spark plugs. Never tuned up and runs great. On the road gas mileage will still hit about 30 mpg, in town depends on traffic and distance but around 22 to 23 mpg. 3 year old tires still look new and there is about 124,000 thousand miles on the vehicle now. Paint problem in the back is getting worse as well as the driver's seat showing wear but the car runs great and I would still buy it all over again! January 2020 update. In September the Honda started having a noticeable drag when starting. Like the battery was bad but it was fairly new so I knew that wasn't it. Something was making a whining noise. I took it in and turns out the alternator had gone bad. $350 and I have a new alternator. A couple of days later as I'm driving down the street every dash light on the car lit up flashing and the car obviously not running well. Go back to the shop with it, turn it off. They start it up just fine, do the diagnostics and tell me nothing is wrong with it. Ok, that's weird. From that point on every time I started the car I could tell it was like a low battery. Back to the shop. They tell me the alternator and the battery both are operating at 100% there is not anything wrong. I could tell there was something wrong so I took it to Sears. They checked it out, did the diagnostics and told me there was nothing wrong. I wanted to buy a new battery, they said no point this battery is 100%, nothing wrong. I bought a $150 battery anyway just so I knew it was good. First day spins right over like new. 2nd day drags a little like the battery is dead. Back to the shop, alternator is 100% battery is 100% , nothing wrong. one day won't start period! Traded it

Fully Japanese CRV
While I've had several Honda's and Toyota's in the past this is the only one of two fully manufactured in Japan cars I've had. The ones sourced and assembled elsewhere I've never had the same bullet proof luck with. This 2007 Honda has never missed a regular scheduled maintenance . The acceleration was never anything to brag about but it has held it's own in the pace with highway and stop and go traffic. This was a CRV we purchased new at the time the new model was available. We had to wait 3+ weeks for the car to arrive. As a commuter/school pickup recon vehicle I love the visibility as we live in an area of the country with some of the worst drivers in the United States. While some may balk at the suggestion that a fully made Japanese Honda shouldn't make a difference I've noticed the interior plastics are more durable than the newer American Accord we also own. The AC in the CRV is superior to the climate control of the former. I appreciate the exterior appearance of this car as it looks like a hybrid between the newer HR-V and the current CRV. I don't feel like I'm missing out by not getting a new car.

The New CR-V
Purchased the white CR-V in October. Exterior: 1. Much better looking than the truck-like 2nd generation. The deletion of the spare tire from the back was a good idea. 2. 17-inch tires good choice. 3. "Underbite" cladding in front a little jarring. Interior: 1. Classy and refined. 2. Driver display showing oil life, mileage, and fuel consumption a great tool. 3. Plenty of room, both front and rear. 4. No power driver's seat. 5. XM radio is nice. Sirius would have been better. 6. Seats fold easily.
55k miles, almost 6 years
I almost in 6 years of ownership at 55k miles. The original tires lasted me 50k miles. I am still on the original brakes! No complaints about this car, it's fantastic. I've only had one minor problem fixed under warranty. I had a AC that whistled under acceleration. A valve was replace under warranty and that is fine now. This is a great reliable car that gets an average of 24mpg.
2007 CRV Reliability not what you think
The Honda CRVs have a reputation of high reliability. Actual results from our 2007 model don't back that up. It has an AC Compressor bearing failure at 94,000 that was found by the dealer while it was being looked at for the known AC Compressor clutch problem. Symptom was an unusual noise that came from the engine area that subsided when the AC was engaged. It is quite noticeable during idle. Dealer wants $900 to fix it, plus they charged me $140 just to diagnose it. Way out of whack. It also has a "shudder" which appears to be a transmission failure. You may want to choose a different vehicle.
2007 CRV - Believe me, you'd rather walk
Feel compelled to write a review, seldom do. I know that its probably too late for many, but this car must be avoided at all costs. I have a 2005 Pilot that is my all time favorite car with 267k on it and still running great with few repairs so I was a Honda loyalist, but this car moved me to Toyota. Known problems (I wish I knew them before I bought it) with: Air Conditioning - this will break thoroughly and completely, - 2k to replace Transmission - this will go out on you some time after 100k - 3k+ to replace. HVAC - this will break TPMS - this has never, ever, ever worked. And here is the worst part of this. When your TPMS light is burning brightly, like the 2007 CRV light will be, always, you cannot cancel stability control via some overthought, overengineered safety mechanism. However, this turns out to be pretty unsafe because if you are stuck in some deep snow and need to spin the tires a bit to get out, YOU CAN'T. The stability control will keep cutting the engine just as you gain some momentum. This turns your expensive AWD SUV into the handling equivalent of a 1969 Chevy Corvair with bald tires. There is no way to deal with this other than pulling the ABS/Stability control fuse. You will try to fix the TPMS light by replacing all sensors and that will work for a few days and then the light will go back on. This is a permanent condition with this car. Interior - the "leather" on the door armrest as well as the seat armrests will disintegrate. Mine started at 50k and is now completely shredded despite trying to repair before it got out of hand. You push the door open using the door armrest and it will just wear this cheap leather out in no time whatsoever. Brakes - I don't really know the story here, but this car seems to warp rotors faster than any other car I have owned. Maybe it is just bad luck (or bad driving!), so this may be piling on a bit because I loathe this car but I am going to say it. This car is a lean, mean, rotor warping machine, Performance - 4 cylinder getting only about 22 mpg. The car is an absolute dog, in fact my dog easily outperforms it. I mean I knew it was a 4 cyl, but c'mon. Ok, that's enough. Under no circumstances should you buy a 2007 CRV. Forget the Honda name and rep for quality, this is one seriously flawed and awful car. I have no idea if Honda has improved the CRV, but 2007 is an absolute zero. Google around for the problems I have listed here, you will find many others having the same (especially the trans and air). I wish i had found those before I bought.

Multiple issues with CRV
The 2007 Honda CRV has issues with it's door locking system. I have had to replace the actuator in the front passenger side and the rear passenger side. When I would unlock the vehicle the locks would not stay unlocked. This is a common problem with Honda CRV's not just this year model. While I was in getting my CRV fixed there was another couple in with an older model CRV with an actuator problem on the driver's side door. There was a class action lawsuit against Honda about this issue. To me this is a safety issue and Honda should recall the vehicle and take care of the problem. The other major problem with this vehicle is the A/C will fail after 100,000 miles. Honda extended the warranty because of the failure, but of course mine failed after the extended warranty. The back seat is like sitting on a bench and the front seats are not good for long travel. If you purchase this car make sure these items have been fixed because they are costly repairs.

My 4th and last Honda
Everything was going well until 89000 miles when the A/C started blowing warm air. Honda, after settling a 40 million dollar class action suit for failed compressor clutches on these A/C units extended the warranty to 7 yrs or 100,000 miles. I never received notification about this. I've had the vehicle for almost 8 yrs but well under the mileage. Honda service said "oh well". Honda of America may pay "a portion" of the repair but won't tell me how much. Honda has known about this problem and did nothing for owners to remedy it before failure. I guess the good Honda name means nothing now. Honda does not stand behind their product. Google this and you will see complaint after complaint about this problem. Also OEM tires ride horribly and lasted 25000 miles. Highway ride is rough. Inside dome light doesn't work. I am so done with Honda.

A/C Compressor Black Death - RIP HONDA
I purchased, used, a 2007 Honda CRV LX. I have owned Honda's all my life (24 years driving), and my family has owned Honda's since the 1970's. The two things I could always count on in Honda were a) excellent quality and therefore value and b) leading customer service. I am extremely disappointed to report that both may no longer hold true. As happens to many people since 2003 (I am now finding out) with a CRV SUV, the compressor clutch freezes and causes the compressor to explode. When this happens, the entire system (hoses, lines, evaporator, etc..) are contaminated, and the entire cooling system has to be replaced. I called Honda Corporate in California and found out they had an extended warranty, for this part, to 7 years/100k. My car is at 106k miles at the moment. So I am screwed. Not only that, but my mechanic told me the problem can recur because the replacement parts have the same issue. He has one customer who has brought in the system to be replaced 3 times over 115k miles. 3 times! So even if I pay the $2000 estimated repair cost, I could end up paying that again in a few thousand miles. So to recap: Honda has a known issue on CRV A/C compressors for 12 years, does NOT issue a recall, offers a limited parts warranty, and then kisses their customers goodbye. At this point, I told Honda Corporate I will never purchase a Honda again after 40 years of my family owning them. I have two Honda's in my driveway (also have a 2008 Civic) that I will now promptly sell and replace both with another brand. RIP Honda, I am done with you!

Pre-certifired means nothing
I have a Honda 2007 CRV LX 4WD. It is my third one to own. I have always bought brand new until the 2007. It was pre-certified, and I thought that meant something. Although it was going 4 years old and had a scratch on the hood, it only had 35,000 miles on it, and Hondas are supposed to do 300K, right? The certified meant it had nothing wrong with it, etc At 86000 miles and 3 years later, the air conditioner has stopped working. I got online to see that the 2002 - 2007 Honda CRV has a design defect that guarantees the AC will fail. A class action law suit resulted in Honda agreeing to do a 8 year/100,000 mile recall. I took it to my local Honda to be told there was no recall on my vin# and two day later, the air went to blowing only hoth wit the heat index at 110 degrees! The condenser broke and the whole system has to be replaced. I called the dealership I bought the certified Honda from to be told that although it was 2015 and it might sound like Honda would cover it until 2015 ended (the 8th year); my particular Honda came off of the line 1/29/07. The eight years are up as up 1/28/15. I was 13 weeks too late. What troubles me is that the dealer knew the Honda had this problem and that it was not a case of if it would break but when. It is a design defect! I am stuck. How could they certify a vehicle with a design defect that guaranteed the AC would go bad somewhere around 85,000 miles? Trading it in will give me low value and keeping it with no AC in the South could be a health hazard. I consider what Honda did to be unethical. Their certified still carries a "buyer beware." It is a way to dump defective vehicles.

Excellent Vehicle
I love it. Absolutely love it. I have had mine for a month now and can't stop driving it. Albeit a 4cly engine, it still has quite a bit of get-up and go to it. Lots of room, kid friendly features, and a smooth noiseless ride.
Honda could not have done better !!!
I have had the car for over two weeks now and really enjoy it. It is fun to drive and it is a must test-drive for those looking at other Small SUVs. For a SUV that is priced under $25,000 it seems to fit in the class of the BMW-X3. Great job Honda!
250,000 miles & still running strong
Steering control is constantly in error trying to pull the car to the right. This started about the 75,000 to 90,000 mile period. no dealer nor anyone else can advise on how to reset the control to '0" point. There are some youtube videos about how to reset the Toyota brands, but no help even from the forums. Seems that the steering 'pulling to the right' is generic to that production group. Additionally, the vibration from the read differential (AWD model) is notorious and was discussed on Click & Clack some years ago. Just be prepared to change the differential fluid at 50,000 miles and there after. Goodyear has made a tire (allurance or something like that) that changes the noise and ride of the car. I have always been a Michelin person but the noise and ride hurts. With Goodyear, it is a nicer ride. The paint has held up well.

Excellent quality ride and price.
My first Honda and it's a fantastic compact SUV. I was trying to decide between the CRV and the RAV4, but went with the CRV. The RAV4 was louder even with the V6 and I didn't like the spare tire sticking out the back. The CRV handled great, is reliable, has good resale and includes a lot of standard equipment. Would buy it again.
Rear Differential
I have enjoyed my CR-V with two exceptions. First the original equipment tires failed after 30K and the rear differential has required "regular service" (at $100.00/per) four times in almost 60K miles, which are mostly highway miles. Honda "Engineers" are supposedly investigating the problem but it still will not help those of us who will drive the vehicle past the 60K mile warranty period. We will look elsewhere next year when we expect to replace this vehicle. The manual and my dealer recommends service every 30K miles, which in my estimation is a outright lie.
I LOVE this SUV!!!
I was turned off by the size at first, but as soon as I test drove my mind completely changed. There's plenty of leg and head room. The inside has tons of features, too! More power for gaining speed on the freeway would be nice, but that would probably mess with the awesome gas mileage.
My 2007 CRV EX
I purchased my certified new with 25K miles. I loved it and have been happy with it but have had reliability issues. My air conditioner failed and had to be replaced and the locking modulator has failed along with a door lock and my routine maintenance visit to the dealer yielded new struts. I'm just at 77K miles with regular maintenance so thumbs down.
Love It!
Ok, I've only had my 07 CR-V EX for one day, but I thoroughly researched several others (Toyota RAV4 and Hyundai Santa Fe and Tucson) and just fell in love with this car. The dealerships around me sell the cars before the even reach the lot or within 2 days of receiving. I went 2 1/2 hrs away, but had a selection to choose from....and they came down about $1500 from MSRP. I got the green tea EX 2WD and love it. The only thing I don't like is the fold and tumble seats as opposed to "lay flat" seats. I was highly considering the RAV4, but hate the tire on the back and not willing to pay $4000 more for the limited with no tire on back. Honda also has better resale value and slightly better gas.
My 12 years with a CR-V
This is my second Honda but first CR-V. We be bought it 68,500 miles ago in the fall of 2006. It has been the perfect vehicle for us in that I am tall but my wife is short and we made it work for both of us: visibility, easy in and out, good gas milage and performance. In fact, we just bought another CR-V...a 2018. Looking forward to another 12 years.

I still love my 2007 Honda! ALOT!
Another year (2021) and it's still me and my 2007 Honda SUV). I still love that car! It is so dependable. If it ever gives me any problems, they are always my fault, for instance, it's such a wonderful car that I forgot to put a new battery in it and the Honda made me pay for that!! Ha! OK, so I put a new battery in it, I thought it was out of gas! and we are still running around where ever I need to go. If I ever have to get a new car, (cry) I will definitely replace my trustyy 2007 Honda SUV with a brand new Honda SUV.

Excellent Car For Your Money
I absolutely LOVE this car! Roomy for me (I am 6'1") and my 3 kids, very fuel efficient, excellent all- wheel drive (it's fully automatic, no buttons to push - the car kicks in the AWD system as soon as the wheels start slipping). Inside design couldn't be better, very intuitive. The road noise is more than I used to driving domestics, but it's the only "negative" comment I can make about this vehicle. Very impressive! Highly recommend to anyone who wants an AWD with good fuel economy and outstanding reliability.
Love the new body style....
Miniature version of the Pilot, not quite as smooth a ride, but close. Perfect small SUV for those who aren't locked into the comfort of a larger one. I have a Pilot, daughter fell in love with CRV and traded her new Civic for it (she's 20). Much "sportier" than the prior years, kind of look like the new small BMW SUVs (much better reliability I'm sure).
The best
This car is the best. I have had it for a week and it is awesome. No problems at all. The navigation is great. The interior is so ergonomically correct. The seats are very comfortable. The kids love the rear reclining seats. All buttons at night are lit (including steering wheel). I will never go back to domestics. Anyone should give this vehicle a close look.
Surprisingly Good!
Had the car over a month and it's been great. I have a S2000, my son have an Accord and my wife had a 1999 Mustang GT Convertible. We were looking for a Lexus GS to replace her Mustang until we looked at the CRV. The lack of power is way over blown unless you're drag racing. I think a lot of the critic comes from the high expectation of this being an Honda. Love the ride and the dash blue light background.
CRAVE the CR-V
I love my new 2007 Honda CR-V. This is a great vehicle that has exceeded all of my expectations. I love the way this car handles and all the features you get for the money. Honda did a great job when redesigning this car. I feel very safe driving this car.
I love my CRV
I bought this vehicle after I totaled my Pontiac Grand Prix. I did some review but not much on the CRV. I really was looking for a 6CYL not a 4CYL. I was in a training class and driving this beater around when I walked in to Honda. I test drove it and purchased it that day. It saved my life in 11/2007 on Thanksgiving when I hit a deer on a highway going 65MPH. I was pregnant at the time. Everyone was safe but shaken up. I was able to drive home from that accident. The car was repaired and looks completely new. I drive 68 miles a day to/from work. I get 23-25mpg depending on how aggressive I drive.
2007 honda crv review
The crv rides firm but in a comfortable way. No appreciable wind noise or road noise. The engine noise is noticeable but not offensive. Only thing that slightly irritates me is the gearing in the transmission. The first 4 gears are spot on where you would like them. The fifth gear is TALL, a real road gear in every sense of the word. A fairly large gap between 4th and 5th. Irritation comes when doing 45 mph and it shifts into 5th under light load, only problem is it's only doing about 1500 rpm in 5th and not enough torque at that rpm to do anything and the drivetrain stresses. It does 70 mph at 2100 rpm. Need a pilots license to ever see 3000 rpm in 5th. Sort of wonder why..
A Good Value
I've had the car for just over a week now, and I like it a lot. It is very quiet, the handling is sporty, and the build quality is excellent. It's also a lot roomier than the last time I tried a CRV (although that was back in 2001). I had been considering the Mercury Mariner, but the CRV won me over with its good looks, superior resale value and Honda's reputation for reliability. It also just feels a lot more solid; the doors close securely and do not feel as flimsy as the Mercury's.
Former HONDA employee and brand ambassador.
My family have owned Honda accord coupe 2001 that was amazing. Great reliability; fantastic on gas and decent leather interior . I purchased this 2007 Honda CRV second hand this time; off lease; nice trade-in; in 2011, haven't had any issues until the AC blew out; which resulted in costly repairs. Honda knows about this "achilles heel" extended warranty on certain parts of Air Conditioning; but sneaky and very technical around this common issue. Would I purchase another crv or recommend anybody buying one??? Most definitely NOT!!! Go with Toyota Rav4

I love this car!
I don't spend a lot of time on the road, but when I drive, I love to drive this SUV. It handles like a car, and is easy to get in and out of tight spaces. Internal cargo space is good, with enough seating flexibility to carry larger items. It gets good mileage, and has enough power under the hood for all driving needs. The seating area is flexible and comfortable. Over all, I am extremely satisfied with my Honda CR-V, and I know I will get years of reliable performance from it.
Rust
My 2007 Honda has started to rust on the back of the trunk lid. I have had it rust proofed every year since I bought it, this is on the surface paint. I have only driven this car two years in all the time I have owned it in the winter. Of course they say it is out of warranty, but would like to know if anyone else has had this trouble. The worst is around the plastic honda plate on the back. Anyone else have this problem and how did you get it fixed. I don't feel I should have to pay for rust when I have done everything I was told to do. I am sure if I fix one spot there will be others pop up. It looks like a money grabbing thing that isn't going away even if it is fixed.
As good or better than expected
We've had our AWD EX for a month and have done around town , mountain and highway driving. The gas mileage is right on the money. This car handles well, is quiet and feels substantial. We've had three other Hondas including a 1999 CRV, this is the best.
Road nosie is the only problem...
I am not sure if it's me or the car itself. I have driven my Mazda 626 for 9 years now and I never thought I heard other vehicles passing when cruising on a high way at 65mph. But with this new CR-V I could hear every car that I pass and the ones that pass by me. I also think the road/wind noise is more. That's my only complaint. The vehicle feels otherwise very crisp and comfort. The noise is heard only on some highways. If the pavement is a newly done one, the noise is not bad. I think the insulation by the car bosy and the window mirrors are of poor quality. I really expected a nice noise free ride.
love my CR-V
I love my Cr-v, but I don't get the gas mileage as I thought I would. I only get around 20 miles to the gallon and that is city and highway driving. I love the way it handles, it is just fun to drive. My last car was a Ford Explorer. The honda is so much more fun to drive! Honda should have the headlights go on by themselves and have lights in the vanity mirrors.
I love my CR-V!
I love my CR-V, it's not only great looking but fun to drive. I love the performance it has to offer, and it looks very classy without having to pay the big buck. I would definitely get another CR-V next time I'm ready to buy another car.
Best ever
Smooth, powerful, excellent design. Strong feeling SUV that feels like I paid so much more for it.
Great CUV for the $
Superb fit and finish, relatively tight handling for a small SUV/CUV, impressive interior materials, upscale exterior styling. We paid a little over $25K for this vehicle which compares favorably to others costing $10K more (taking the engine out of the equation).
How do they do it?
How does Honda keep building the perfect auto? This is my sixth Honda/Acura and I am completely happy. This is my first CRV. It's the jack of all trades vehicle. I have a Karaoke business so I had to give up my Tsx for something with room for my equipment. I was worried that I would not like another auto as much. No worries! It's quite fun to drive. The interior feels upscale and the exterior has character. I also test drove the Rav but don't like the rear door or the spare tire hanging off the back. In conclusion if you are in the market for a small Suv you won't go wrong with this jewel!
Buy stock in a good tire company.
Have had this car for three years and already looking to buy a third set of tires. The car itself is fine and I feel safe driving my children in it but already looking to get rid of it due to the expensive cost of tires. We cannot keep buying new tires every year. I'm on a budget and was looking for a low maintenance vehicle. Bye bye CR-V.
so far, so good!
Just got my black with beige leather interior EX-L on Friday (12/22/06) and it is phenomenal!! Paid $26,000 after negotiating the delivery fee to zero. Very sure footed, excellent visibility and very comfortable. I feel very safe. It gets lots of looks, too!
Love our 2007 Honda CRV
Our CRV is 9 years old and we haven't had any mechanical problems with it! The catalytic converter cover recently rusted loose, but that was easily fixed with muffler clamps. The cloth interior is difficult to keep clean. Great handling in winter.

Fun and reliable vehilce
Traded a 2005 altima. AWD needed in the hills of VT even if snow has been scarce this year it will come. First impression is vehicle feels very tightly built. Feels safe and secure. Mileage has been a resonable 25-26 mostly city with some highway during commute. Higher when just highway. Fit and Finish are excellent as usual with Honda. Down side is no storage to speak of in the main cabin area.
CR-V is hard to beat!
We're very happy with our CR-V. We traded in our '98 for this '07 and love it even more than the first one. It has more legroom for the back seats and bigger cargo area in the back. Gas mileage is about 25 mpg--not bad for an SUV. We had zero problems w/ our first one, and expect the same this time.
I love my CR-V
I just bought a 2007 CR-V in November. So far I'm completely in love. It looks great and drives even better. There are so many Wow factors on the 2007 model. I'm not a big fan of the shelf in the back but at least it can be taken out and if I ever need it, it's there. Other than that, it feels like a high end car for the most part
Love our CR-V
We traded our 2005 Honda Accord for the new 2007 CR-V and we could not be more pleased with the vehicle. It is an outstanding value and a great design.
Feel safe in CR-V
After doing all my home work on small SUVs I settled on a 2007 CR-V with the sleek new body style. I was weary of the 4 cylinder engine not giving me enough power, But she proved to do the work, hauling round bales of hay up hill. The back seats drop forward to make a larger bed. Plenty of room for 4 adults comfortably and cargo area.
Love my CR-V
When it came time for me to buy a new car, my son talked me into test driving a Honda CR-V. I absolutely fell in love with it. For the price, it has more amenities than any other car I test drove (and I test drove lots of different cars). I have the LX- L model with the rear view camera, navigation system, and great stereo system. I am averaging 25 mpg this last year, city and highway combined. Around town, I usually get 21 mpg, but on the highway, I get as high as 31 mpg. This was also the best gas mileage posted on any car I drove. I cannot remember when I've enjoyed a car so much. One thing that impressed me overall was I was not exhausted after driving a long distance!
Older but practically new
This has been a great family car with impressive performance and versatility. I would keep this car if it had some of the latest technology advances that now grace the new cars. I will weep a few tears when she goes.

Sporty CR-V
This is a fun SUV to drive. I bought it new and it is reliable and I would replace it in a snap. I've had no problems with this car.

Impulsive purchase...
Went in to have headlights changed on my former ('03), saw the new model, and purchased it within a few minutes. The design, both ext. and int., is aesthetically pleasing. What's improved over former design? New dash, loss of spare on rear door (which opens up), handling, shifter below center console, seats are more comfortable, int. space remains approx. the same. Wheels (17") afford a more contemp. look, although the driver's seat is set a tad lower than the former. Windshield is slightly more pronounced in slant; wind/road noise is decreased markedly over previous. Avail. colors are excellent, each most appealing. I had a time of it deciding. Interior storage needs improvement--cen. console
